This place needs an adult. These kids they have working in there are a complete joke. 7/2/17, about an hour before close, I came in. I was waiting in line for a solid 10 minutes for the movie that was supposed to be held at the counter for me. When it finally came my turn, the blonde girl working looked RIGHT past me and told the customer behind me to step up for assistance. I politely chimed in stating I was next and just got a blank stare, not an apology or anything. I tell her the movie thats on hold and the boy working with her said "OH!! That was the one I was supposed to go grab!" So we go get the movie and I head back up to the counter (the boy was in the middle of a big transaction so I returned to the girl.) I place my movie on the counter and pull out my wallet. A gentleman comes in to the store from outside and stands in line behind me. AGAIN, this idiot girl looks AROUND me and starts asking the gentleman how she can help him! Completely disregarding me for a 2nd time. The gentleman starts going off on the employee about their return policy or whatnot, so I here I am, waiting for these 2 to hash it out so I can just pay for my damn movie and go. This went on for FIFTEEN MINUTES! The boys line cleared faster so I went to him. He was on the phone with someone who was obviously getting on to him about this particular stores sales. And I quote, this fool says (in front of all of the BELTON CUSTOMERS) "Well, this is Belton. This isnt Leawood, they dont really have money here, so we cant make sales." All of the customers heard this. With you having a new location in Grandview, I dont see this Belton location lasting very long with these attitudes and lack of supervision. Get a grip.

I went there today was quoted 39.99 for an older model 360 with no memory I left came back and they never said they had it for that price. ok so I can an get one for 69.99 (also had 139.00 30.00 off.. which I made clear I did not want) and I got 2 15.00 games the 3rd free 9.99 ok.. I told him 141.00 is all I have (checking I out the nice cashiers) and this is for my 8yr olds birthday... well 70.+30.=100.00 I had to pay 141.00 so they over charged I get tax not 40.00.. the 360 he sold me was 139.99 and go 30 off.. (said I didnt want) one of the games wouldnt play cuz its cracked... (should have looked the disk isnt in the case and thought I could trust my customer service) When I said I hope I have enough he said well make it happen yep he got me for at least $30 a game and a clean system. I got home there was something sticky on the bottom of the 360 with dog hair stuck to it. he said I have a 30 warranty when I opened the box at home they have a no cash back policy (store credit).. I never been game system shopping this was the worst. U will see me tomorrow about my game as far as service never again.(dont want ur store credit). I call my cousin cuz this is a pile of bs and he said and thats why I shop at game stop.. ok Game stop hope ur better then vintage stock... cuz they Rob you and suck...

OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE! Ive been to many vintage stocks, everyone is great and employees are extremely friendly, this one is definitely the best, bought many things here over the years, and employees are always very helpful and friendly. My last visit was their labor day weekend sale buy 2 get 1 free, ended up buying 6 used cds, and got into a long conversation with one of the workers who was walking the floor, most of it was about metal music, and that I made great choices in my cds. Sadly when I got home and tested them all out, a couple of them skipped. I brought them back a few days later, and they offered to run the cds through the disk cleaner, which was a great idea. It removed all scratches and looked brand new, but then again sadly they still skipped, brought them back again to exchange them for another copy of the albums and ended up just getting them in new. They were super friendly about it, and apologized for the inconvenience, which they didnt have to apologize, stuff like this happens if you buy used items, but that is customer service. Still outstanding customer service, wish I could have gotten everyones name who helped me. Ill just say everyone that works there is great. I will always be back no matter what, and THANK YOU!

If you want to get ripped off and get EXTREMELY over charged for things then this is your store they litterally charge 100 dollars for a dragonball set that is only 13 dollars online they will buy your nintendo ds for 10 bucks and try to sell it back to you for 50 they are a giant scam and will try to make you feel like "its a good deal" the whole time i wouldnt recomend this store to anybody ever not even my worst enemy they take advantage of anybody i wouldnt be upset if this store got closed down for good you can get anything they sell for a fraction on what they charge people can not possibly be that stupid

Bought a new Ps4. Was not informed it could not be returned if opened. Triend to return it two days later in the original box with wrapping. Employee was a complete turd wad to me. Extremly rude and harsh for the fact that i couldnt return a opend item. Asked about a sale price which was 1/3 the origonal sale. Even thought they are selling a used one, opened with no box for ten dollors less than the new version. What a racket. Hire employees who know to treat people with respect. No apology, no friendliness. No explanation. Game stop has a 7 day satisfaction guarentee go there

Havent been asked if I needed help. This place has gone down. Didnt get a goodbye. I understand they are busy,but still it takes 3 seconds to say take care, see you later, or have a good day. They need 30 to 40 year olds employees with great customer service and are familiar with every game, and movie genre. A lot of them are unknowlegable about 80s and 90s movies because they are in their 20s or they dont research other movies, so they can be more helpful to customers who have unique tastes. Ill go to another location to use my 5.00 off card. You lost my business.

This VStock has always been fantastic. The staff are always friendly and accommodating and if ever I need something looked up Im never made to feel like Im a burden, and they always do as much as they can to help me get what Im after. The manager, Jared, is a really solid guy. He knows his stuff and he has a lot of integrity. Go shop here!

Terrible service in the comic book dept. I was waiting for my subscription when I discovered that my account was some how deleted! I missed the entire DC comics rebirth! I have told them I will not come back and now I drive 20 minutes out of town to a real comic book store. Vintage Stock! What a joke!
