Hate to be the one that points this out, but you guys are aware its a secondhand retail store that alters prices around "Hastings" and "Gamestop" every morning dont you? probably not, yeah some of the prices, or policies that are associated with this store some people dont like, BUT thats one thing, now towards the gentleman ( Neko Chan ) that had posted a false review about the DLC disc, DVD disc, AND about the employee that threw stuff, all of this is false, reason i state this, is the fact Im aware, and associate with all three managers of this store (store, district, and the regional, not to mention i have associated with the owner himself), but i know first hand that this statement is false^.^ now for everybody else i can see all of those points being true, but like i said its second hand, prices change daily but the staff is friendly, any that arent have been removed very quickly, this store has been remodeled and under new management since the originals, and has been thriving since. Game X Change in Longview has been updated, they have a friendly staff that knows their business, they have games that date back to the atari, and they give great prices on everything for cash and store credit, heck iv watched them help a customer find an older game that was listed as 99.95 Suikoden on play station 1, they found one had it shipped, and BAM! sold because they made the effort. The older crews that worked at this establishment, might have been horrible in some peoples eyes, however that was in the past, their new crew and management are fantastic.Best that there has been in years!

I have bought a lot of games and hardware from here that didnt work or glitched up. And they sell older systems (like the older versions of the PS3) at full price and expect you to buy all the cables seprately. Once I bought a game that came with a DLC disk. I got home and realized the DLC disk wasnt in the box. I called up there and was told that they didnt have the DLC disk so I went back up there the next day to either return it or to get at least part of my money back. Ended up they did have the DLC disk. The guy from the day before had lied to me. ALSO. Just recently I bought two Blu Ray + DVD combos. They were both the same price and when I got them home, one didnt have the DVD in it. I went back to the store hoping to either get the DVD or my money back. When I had bought the Blu Ray + DVD combo there had been the same movie right beside it that didnt come with the DVD so I figured I had been given the wrong one. I got to the store I was given a bunch of excuses and told that they didnt have any more (even though I could still see the other one on the shelf). The man working there eventually gave me store credit after throwing the movie into a soda and knocking it over near a bunch of merchandise. If they are going to get angry at me for wanting what I paid for and then not care about damaging the merchandise they are trying to sale, then I see no reason doing buisness with them. There is a Hastings, a Games 2 Go, and 3 Gamestops nearby that are MUCH more willing to help you find what youre looking for even if they dont have it in one of their stores.

They sold me a Wii remote, before Christmas, intended for sale and use in Japan only. It did not work with my console, so i took it back. They were out of stock, and refused to give me my money back so i could go to a store that DID have it in stock. Instead they gave me store credit and the option of waiting 3 to 5 days for a remote, or traveling 40 miles to their sister store to get the ONE American remote they had in stock. I took the new remote home and powered it up and wonder of wonders, IT WORKED! Me being a nice guy, I called them up to let them know that the remote we brought back had to be faulty, and the counter guy said "Allright, WHATEVER." AND HUNG UP. There is a Hastings next door, and a GameStop in the same shopping center. NEVER again will my shadow darken Game Xchanges doorstep.

I strongly recommend staying clear of this establishment. The pricing on used games and equipment is higher than you can purchase for new. Examples of this are an Xbox 360 wireless controller used for $46.99 @ Game X Change when you can buy them new for $38.99 and the popular Street Fighter X Tekken game for $49.95 @ Game X Change when you can purchase this game new for $36.95 from retailers. It appears they run off a system where you think used means cheaper, but, sadly, this is not the case. Theres a Hastings store literally one parking lot over that will have correct retail pricing on new items and also carry a stock of used games priced below retail.

Absolutely amazing store. I have purchased multiple games from this store and have always been very satisfied. Trade-ins almost always give me more than GameStop or other stores and if I had any problems with the merchandise they were quick to get it fixed or just flat out exchange it. I couldnt be happier with this store and would recommend it to anyone I know.

I have been going here since 2009, even though sometimes they get useless employees they are quickly removed. They always work with me. They have done many exchanges for me Without a problem. In and out with a wide selection.

They have a large selection but silly policies, prices, and behavior. Whenever I there I feel like the think they are doing me a favor. Its my absolute last resort when I am looking for something I want today.
