If you are in Gulfport or Biloxi , Long beach area you just have to stop here. Its right out of the 1950s and one of the few places Katrina left intact. Ask about how this little gem survived, its an amazing story. Jim and June Day are the part of the original owners. Oh and you dont need to drive to New Orleans to get a beignet they have therm right here Served M-F 8-11 Am

I had the club sandwich and wife had the fried chicken with side of rice and gravy and turnip greens. Fried chicken was juicy and my sandwich was great. Environment was welcoming with an old timey feel. Booth seating was lacking some cushion but all around great experience.

Love the beignets and chocolate milk here! Closest you can get to New Orleans on the gulf coast. The dinner is in the back of the drug store, which hasnt changed much from the 1950s. I highly recommend dropping in, even if its just to look around, really neat place.

Great old-school pharmacy / diner. Lots of cool historic photos around the dining area and the whole place has a cool 1940s - 1950s vibe. The plate lunches are great. Be sure to try the biscuits!

My visit to Triplett-Day was wonderful. I enjoy Beignets and thought Cafe Du Monde in New Orleans was the best but move over Cafe Du Monde, beignets at Triplett-Day are the BEST EVER!

Food is way overpriced for what you get and is just not that good for a hole in the wall place.
