Expensive gear, doesnt hold up, warrant non-existant. My family purchased 9 jackets for Christmas gifts and by March mine had a hole. The store sent it in to be fixed. They said they would mail it back to me but by Oct when I had yet to hear anything, I stopped in this store and they were basically helpless saying they have no system to track where my jacket was. He said hed call me Monday when the "call center" was open. Monday - no call. So I called and spoke with a girl on the phone who was going to look into it and call me right back. She never did. Yet more phone calls later for days, I finally get a voice mail that they were sending me a gift card for a fraction of what the coat or a new coat would cost. Dont shop here. Drive the extra mile down to Patagonia or anywhere else because youll pay more at North Face but they wont hold up, staff doesnt do anything to help you for the price you pay, and clearly warranty is worth a fraction of what you pay even if its just 3 months later.

This was my 2nd venture into this North Face store and possibly my last. The first trip our experience with a sales clerk was unfavorable, even my 19 year old was not impressed. Today we went in and the guy who started helping us was really nice and I thought this is refreshing, then he asked another sales clerk to help us find something and it turned nasty. This second sales person raised her eyebrows at my daughter and informed us in a rather snooty tone that what we were looking for was last years design. Really, was that attitude necessary? Two strikes….will I give it a third chance, not real likely.

The saleswoman who helped me gave me excellent advice on the right coat to buy for my trip to Rocky Mountain National Park. I was torn between the one I bought and another that was $50 more, but she steered me toward the one with extra wind protection over more insulation, which was exactly right. I thank her very much. I love my coat. He we are at 12,000+ feet, in 40-50 mph winds. Happy with my purchase!

I was traveling through Saint Paul. I needed some luggage. Kendra helped me over the phone. She answered all my questions. She met me when I arrived at the store. She had the item I requested waiting for me. As well as an unpackaged item to show me the size to make sure it was what I wanted. Great customer service. Thank you Kendra and associates.

Bad experience. Manager wouldnt swap out a jacket with broken zipper. Tried to get me to pay more for the swap with similar coat year newer or wait 12-16 weeks for the zipper to be repaired as part of the lifetime warranty. Pathetic warranty takes a winter to fix. Went to a different North Face store where they swapped jackets no hassle.

I brought in an old North Face backpacking backpack that had a seem rip. The staff gave me the right form to fill out and were able to answer all the questions I had. Way to stand behind the product!
