My mom went into the store last week to simply inquire the cost of a phone and a plan. Because she is on my phone plan they refused to talk to her and said unless I was there they could not answer her questions about a new plan. My mom tried to explain that she wants off my plan and to get her own. The guy still said unless me, her daughter, is there they cant talk to her. Another person approached them and asked whats the problem. They continued to skirt around my moms questions about a plan and phone for her. I completely understand they cannot talk to her about my plan at all because she is not an authorized user on my account. They never gave her any direct information and spoke to my mom as though she was dumb (she felt) and my mom felt as though she was being laughed at as they walked her out of the store. If I had the two representatives names I would write them but it was a guy and girl that were working this past Saturday. I called the store and tried to talk to the manager Nick who was busy, so I called AT&T customer service and spoke to a supervisor Damien. He agreed with me this situation was not handled correctly and assured me that I would receive a call from the store manager or district manager. It has now been 5 days and nothing. My mom went to another carrier and got a plan. At the same time, they respected her and treated her as a valued customer. I personally have worked in retail as a manager for over 15 years and do not write this review lightly. Customers need to be listened to and valued for a business to thrive, which is clearly not the intentions in this matter.

Want horrible advice and terrible customer service? This is the store for you! I purchased my samsung galaxy s5 from this store, after placing a case and screen protector on it immediately the side button had fallen out within a couple months. I believe it was a manufacture issue as I had never dropped/damaged my phone. I took it in to see if they could do anything, after inspecting my phone and confirming there has been no damage done, the associate told me to put some super glue in there and put the button back in. So that is what I did, obviously the button got stuck and completely ruined the button all together. Now I admit I shouldnt have taken the horrible advice but I trusted the associate and assumed they knew what they were doing. I called to get some help with the issue and the manager was short and rude. He explained to me that I could drive all the way to Coon Rapids to see IF theyd warranty it or I could pay $200 deductible to get a new one. I explained to him that I dont feel like I should pay for his associates poor advice, so he was willing to pay half. Which would leave me paying $100 for terrible advice that ruined my phone. Unhappy with the advice, help, and customer service. I would not suggest going here and will never be back to this store.

Warning-Do not use the AT&T store in Apple Valley. The female store manager is very nasty and not at all helpful. I went in, on a Sunday, for a replacement phone that AT&T told me I had to do and all I got was a run around. When I called the 800 number, which is what the store told me I had to do, the 800 number finally gave me a code to use to get my new phone. I had to make all the calls myself. The store staff wouldnt do it for me. They wouldnt help me other than to give me a phone number. The store manager got mad at me for telling the 800 number how lazy the store staff was and she would not help get my new phone even though I got the code myself. She told me I had to leave the store immediately. Terrible customer service! If I were you, I would not support this store.

Went into the store because I was having connectivity issues with my phone not connecting to LTE properly I was getting HSPA. I stopped into another AT&T early in the month they said they could fix it, however I was at work at the time and was just looking for a charger. The guy that checked me in said he had never heard of that before and I should contact Google to solve the issue that Im having with an AT&T connectivity issue. Then I asked him if there was anyone else in the store that could help me he said no. So after a couple of hours searching I found out that there was a APN issue. Once I corrected this it solved my problem. This store has always been good at helping me out when I am looking to upgrade or buy something, but not with support when something is not working.

Very poor customer service. Walked in store to do upgrade of phone for existing line. Manager (Frank?) walked up and registered me and was next in line for assistance. Another customer walked in a while later and the Mgr started to assist them right away. After a while, I asked for status of help and he stated it should only be a few minutes. I looked up at the customer board and I was next with nobody below me. Another 5 minutes passed, and another customer enters the store. Shortly thereafter a store representative comes from the back to start assisting then with their questions (without even registering them to wait in line). I was fed up and left the store. No need to give any business to this store.

They need more efficient sales people that dont spend 3 hours talking about the dog and fantasy football! It should never take three hours to get a new phone. The salesman (JP) we got after waiting over an hour was extremely rude and disrespectful! Webe been ATT customers for over 20 years and have never had an experience like this! We have their directv, home security and have never switch to another company. After this visit sadly I think we are leaving them! I hope ATT takes stock in how their staff works(or doesnt). This could also be why the prices are so high, they are paying people to do nothing! Who stays for poor service AND uncompetitive pricing with no attempt to even try to keep a CUSTOMER?

Never returning to this location. I had all information they needed to transfer my number over even though I dont own the account... Even the store number and cell phone number of the AT&T employee who completed the account transfer from Sprint but he refused to call and said even if the guy said he did it, there still wouldnt be proof? Like what do you want? My mom lives half way across the country, its not like we can conviently go to the same store. I work in customer service too. You took no care in my life situation and how difficult it was. Im saddened that I still have to transfer to AT&T, but hopefully will find a better store than this one!

HORRIBLE - HORRIBLE - HORRIBLE Wasted 1.5 hours waiting to talk to someone, after we were told it would take 20 minutes. We had our 4 year old daughter with us and knew exactly what we wanted. We had one phone to set up and the other we did not. We needed maybe 20 minutes. They had 3-4 people working, one the manager was going around "helping" out the others. So 3 people on a Saturday afternoon, there were 2 people in front of us. One lady walked through the door and got in before us. If we could have completed online, I would have rather done that. Really do not want to ever walk into this store again!
