Wow, looks like I had a much better experience than the other two who posted here. Walking in the doors at Wedding Day in St Louis Park, we were greeted by the largest selection of rings yet. I was happy that wed narrowed in on a couple of styles she liked before we arrived, but I think she could have spent all afternoon trying on them all. :) The staff was the friendliest and most helpful yet and the warranty policy was perfect; short of totally losing your ring, Wedding Day covers everything you could think of that could happen to it. After our first visit wed decided that we felt most comfortable with Wedding Day due to their staff, policies, selection and general vibe. At this point it was down to me to make some decisions on my own - and this is where I was extremely grateful we chose Wedding Day. The staff was extremely helpful, particularly Charlie. Charlie worked with me from our first visit up to the end. I probably stopped in 2-3 times on my own, had 20+ emails, and a few phone calls with him on the ring I wanted to get, how we wanted to customize it, and trying to make it fit within the budget I had set. Despite my worries that I was taking too much of his time, Charlie kept reassuring me that I was doing nothing of the sort and that he wanted to help me make this ring perfect... exactly what Id hoped to hear. All the communication was worth it, the ring we were able to come up with together was perfect and customized just enough to make it truly unique and within my budget. My fiancee LOVES it. I highly recommend Wedding Day for all of the above mentioned reasons; selection, staff, the experience, and warranty. Id regret it if I didnt mention others at the store that were super helpful as well. Besides Charlie (Im so thankful I didnt burn him out with all of my emails and questions) the rest of the staff was just as pleasant and kind. Aaron helped educate me on diamonds and what to look for and never once did I feel like I was being upsold on things that didnt really matter to us, and a fun guy to talk to. Also the office manager Jessica, who was also very fun to talk with and, when I nervously told her the plan of the proposal the night I picked my ring up, was genuinely excited for me and assured me my girlfriend would love it. In retrospect I have absolutely zero regrets about going to Wedding Day Diamonds for our engagement ring. While the selection and warranty are certainly differentiators, to me it was the staff that separated Wedding Day from the crowded pack of jewelers.

My husband and I recently celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. We were searching for the perfect ring to commemorate the occasion. I had the good fortune to meet Jon Garren at the West End store. We had been to many jewelry stores, including custom jewelers, but I had not found the ring or the business that felt right. It was quite the tall order to find the perfect ring, but Jon had the patience, understanding and empathy to talk through it with my husband and I until I settled on the perfect diamond band. Jon was able to guide me through all the rings that I was initially bedazzled by (the selection is vast and beautifully sparkly), and helped me to arrive at what I have decided in the past 3 months to be the PERFECT ring for me! Its an anniversary band, but it is very plain, relatively flat, has 5 stones which Jon pointed out could represent one diamond for every 5 years, and it has the color and quality of stones in it that chose and I am pleased each and every time I look at my ring. Jon had a great sense of humor, explained thoroughly how your business works with picking the setting and the quality of diamonds and then ordering your own personalized ring, showed us individual diamonds along the way for every setting I was considering, was willing to spend the time necessary to be sure I was satisfied with my purchase, was very respectful and I totally enjoyed working with him on this purchase. I wont hesitate to recommend Jon and Wedding Day Diamonds @ the West End in the future - I know he will treat them right!

Here is a story about my experience with wedding day that I feel the need to share. I am happily married and am no where near done buying jewelry. I am however, done doing business with Wedding Day. The readers digest version of the story is this: A stone fell out of my wifes ring, we went to get it replaced, they declined to cover it. (be sure to read what is plastered on their wall in the store...IF YOU BOUGHT IT AT WEDDING DAY DIAMONDS, ITS GUARANTEED. ITS JUST THAT SIMPLE. EVEN IF YOU LOSE A DIAMOND PURCHASED FROM, WEDDING DAY DIAMONDS, WE WILL REPLACE IT.) We brought the ring in for a cleaning and inspection in October but because the Wedding Day employee that cleaned it didnt enter the inspection into their computer, they said it had not been inspected within the last 6 months. I lose. So, its not SIMPLE. I wrote a couple emails to the manager who got back to me after my second attempt. I guess the first email got "lost" in their system. I was hopefull that they would make an effort to help me out. Split it with me? Store credit for something? Nothing. Just a "sorry, its not covered". So buyer beware.

I have actually never written a review on anything before, but after what we have gone through I felt compelled. Wedding Day Diamonds had absolutely terrible follow through with us 3 times. The first time, we never received a return phone call when we were told we would. The second time, they got the design on the mens wedding band wrong, said the would fix it, then made no changes and it was still wrong! It was finally taken care of on the third try. And with all the mistakes, they never offered anything to us. I had to be the one to request that we deserve some sort of compensation for their mistakes. Third, they said they would send an appraisal in the mail, didnt, and I had to call back again to have it sent. With that call, they actually had our name spelled wrong in their system and couldnt find us. It was all added stress, phone calls and time that we had to deal with during all the planning of our wedding. I would never recommend Wedding Day and will never go back. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY WITH THEM!!

I have been impressed by the service I received at Wedding Day Diamonds, both for my fiances engagement ring, as well as our wedding bands. The staff seem to be very knowledgeable about the products, as well as supportive in finding a product that is a "good fit," not necessarily the most expensive. We worked with Aaron Smith, Jeremy Pinck, and Brock Verville- all of whom were professional and knowledgeable. We have been happy with the service from Wedding Day after our ring purchase as well- they are always willing to answer questions we might have and ensure the the rings are always looking clean! The only place where we did not feel the information matched the outcome was on the ring insurance. We did get multiple quotes, including one from the recommended insurance group- all were above the estimated cost quoted in the store. We did ultimately find the best quote through the company we get our other insurances through. Otherwise, great service, friendly staff, and quality products!
