My husband purchased a wedding ring and a second ring (a three stone) ring to present to me on my wedding day. The three stone included two family stones and one purchased stone. He was concerned that I would not like the three stone ring since I had told him I didnt like three stones and Wedding Day assured him that if I didnt like it, we could bring it back for store credit. They PRIDE THEMSELVES on this policy! They advertise a ONE YEAR satisfaction guarantee. My wedding day was June 23rd and I brought the ring in in September. I assumed I would be taken care of since my husband had been assured his purchase had the safetynet of at least store credit. I was quite shocked when I was told that the computer would not let them give me a store credit. The three stone ring was somehow NOT ELIGIBLE for the store credit. I was shocked. My husband only went ahead with the plan for the second ring BECAUSE OF ASSURANCES OF THIS STORE POLICY! They told me the best they could do with this ring my husband paid over $1100 for was melt down the gold and give us about $60. GET THIS: They wouldnt even make an offer on the diamond, only the gold; despite advertising that they buy diamonds. The whole thing was ridiculous. I CANNOT BELIEVE THE NUMBER OF STORE POLICIES THEY DID NOT FOLLOW THROUGH WITH! They didnt even get my wedding ring right. My husband had purchased a certain style in large part because the stone and setting were lower than any other we had found of that style. We were very specific about having the stone just as it was in the display case since we had looked at nearly a dozen ring shops and couldnt find a low enough setting. Unfortunately, when he picked up the ring the center stone was set a great deal higher than the model ring in the display case. We didnt have time to fix it before the wedding. When we brought it in to have it lowered they reset the center stone lower, but OFF CENTER. When they finally reset the stone correctly, they broke one of the thin pieces of gold underneath the setting. It scratched me when I put it on my finger. So, yet again they tried to fix the problem and it doesnt look quite right. The thin piece was just connected back together with a blob of metal so it looks obviously broken and sloppily repaired. If you are thinking of purchasing anything from Wedding Day Jewelers of Eden Prairie, PLEASE READ MY STORY AND RECONSIDER. I wouldnt want you to loose the kind of money my husband and I did at the hands of their fickle story policies and false assurances.

My husband and I stopped in at Wedding Day Diamonds to check on the possibility of a Engagement Ring that would match my existing Wedding Band for our 5 year anniversary. We had stopped at a couple of other stores, including where we had purchased my Wedding Band and did not have any luck at all. When we entered the store, we were greeted by Lissy Thompson. We communicated what we were looking for and she immediately found two rings that matched PERFECTLY!! She educated us on pricing, asked us what price range we were looking for and invited us to sit down and go over the 4 Cs of Diamond Ratings. We sat down and she brought us several different options that would fit in our budget. There was another associate in the store and he volunteered to clean my existing band while we went through our options. Once I had narrowed down my choices, I was able then to view the diamonds through a microscope. She then explained the wonderful warranty they provide, their upgrade policy and their rewards program. The choice was easy and we purchased the ring and diamond right then! I went with a princess diamond with their signature cut. And my husband, decided to have his ring engraved and cleaned. Lissy was absolutely professional, knowledgeable, personable (not "salesey") and respected our budget. We could not have had a better experience anywhere else!! I picked up the ring 3 weeks later and it is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS and our wedding bands looks like new! When the time came for me to make that big purchase I had visited a total of 8 jewelry stores to browse and find that perfect ring for my special one. When I walked into Wedding Day in Eden Prairie I was greeted warmly by Liza Huber and she instantly introduced herself and told me to look around without any pressure. Simply said if you have any questions or need anything to let her know. Unlike almost every other store I had visited I felted pressured and interrogated right when walking in the door, but not at Wedding Day. I decided to ask my girlfriend of 6+ years to marry me! I had shopped around a lot for an engagement ring and found out quickly that it wasnt going to be easy. I went several different places and no one I talked to seemed to care about what I was looking for or the budget I was on, that is until went to Wedding Day! I went to the Eden Prairie location and all I can say is this place is a class act. They were very busy when I came in and still I was greeted promptly by Erin. She thanked my for stopping by and said that I would be helped as soon as possible and offered me a beverage and a little snack while I waited. That was a first of all the places I went to. I had to search out people to help me at other stores and even then didnt get helped? Anyways after about 5 min. Jeremy came and greeted me again and asked how he could help. I told him I was just looking at rings and asked where do I start. He took the time to show me everything I wanted to look at and educated me along the way about diamonds and rings and so on. The service was beyond great ! They made my decision of where to buy the ring very easy. Like most people I didnt know a lot about Jewelry but they really took the time to help me understand what I was looking at! In the end I purchased my ring from them and could not have been more pleased with my experience! I highly recommend you visit this store if you want to deal with people who care about your needs and will stop at nothing to help you out!
