My engagement ring was designed and handmade by an independent jewelry designer. When I received the ring, it was a size and a half too big, and after seeing all of the positive reviews for DeVries, I decided to take my ring there to have it resized instead of mailing it states away to the original designer (I was too excited to give it up for more than a week). I was extremely happy that DeVries finished the repair in 4 days, but when I picked it up, they had polished off all the antiquing, making the ring look dull and unfinished. The ring is sterling silver, and has intricate details mimicking a lotus flower. The details were very prominent with the black antiqued look, and it was one of the things I loved about the ring. I was disappointed that DeVries never told me that I would lose the antiquing, and when I questioned it they told me "it woud tarnish again over time", which clearly means they had no idea what the difference was. After calling around to other jewelers, I found that I could have the ring antiqued again, meaning another week without my ring and another $30 out of our pocket. I just wish DeVries would have warned me before taking my ring, then telling me to deal with it. I would have definitely gone somewhere else that could have resized the ring and antiqued it at the same time. Im not sure if it was a lack of knowledge, or honesty, or both on their part, but I probably wont be returning to DeVries.

I needed to buy pair of diamond earrings for my 30th wedding anniversary. I went to several jewelers and did a bunch of research and shopping online. A friend of mine recommended Devries Jewelers. I met with Dan Devries and he was very friendly, patient and knowledgeable. Without going into the whole story, he went above and beyond my expectations. I purchase a lovely pair of princes cut 2.08 tcw diamond earrings from him for a lot less then what I was looking at locally or online. I will be shopping there again and would highly recommend them. Dan is good people.

Great service and a great feel. They are wonderful people and the "next generation" of owners are very friendly and knowledgeable. We went to nearly a dozen places to have an heirloom ring remade. Most were clueless how to do it, and others seemed very uninterested in taking on the task. Devries came in well under budget and the engagement ring turned out better than we had hoped. Devries has earned a customer for life. I cannot say enough nice things about level of professionalism and extreme value offered at this local store.

The entire family team at DeVries has treated me very well over the years. My latest purchase of an engagement ring & wedding band have been all I could ask for. If youve got something picked out elsewhere, I challenge you to bring your request to DeVries and watch them better your current offer on quality and/or price!

My family has bought jewelry from DeVries for years and we have never been disappointed. We love their selection and the staff is wonderful. My fiance bought my engagement ring from here and it is perfect. I get compliments on it all the time because it is so beautiful and unique. Because of my loyalty to DeVries, fiance picked out his ring from here and they are going to customize it for him how he wants it. I would never buy jewelry from anywhere else, they are the best!

I had a two things when I began the process of proposing to my wife: an extremely beautiful, loving, caring woman, and a short budget. The staff at Devries were amazing! If there is ever a problem with anything they make sure to fix/clean/repair immediately. I have never had a bad experience there and will continue to shop there and ONLY there for the rest of my life
