Walmart used to be the place where you could go in and get what you were looking for. But in recent years it has become unreliable. What they had available the week before they much of the time have not replenished. Some days the shelves in the grocery area are wiped clean of the standard products. This has made me chose other stores were their inventory is more consistent. At these places I have been able to find what I was looking for. I have also frequently special ordered an item from the paint and hardware dept. and they are unable to organize themselves to call me when it arrives. They just put my special order on the shelf after I have waited for it for weeks. If I do not catch this by stopping in repeatedly I miss out on the quantities that I ordered. They are also very challenging at the customer check lanes. Some times only one register is open and there are several people waiting to be checked out. There are at least a dozen lanes it is crazy that so many are unserviced. I personally do not think that service is a concern any more in many consumer venues and I am confused by the unimportance that I have as a consumer. This new economy is a confusing one.

Hit or miss on whether what you want is actually on the shelf or not. Plan to spend plenty of time waiting in line to check out because they like to keep only one or two lines open no matter the time or how busy they are. Make sure you know where things are because odds are if you ask for help in anything other than the food section you arent going to get assistance or an answer and the other departments are always understaffed. Once had to wait 30-45 minutes to pick up photos because they only had one person covering photos and all electronics. Had other employees walk by on multiple occassions and tell me I just had to wait for the one employee even though I just needed an employee to pull photos out of a drawer. Have asked multiple times for help to find specific items and have had employees who either didnt know the answer or gave me inaccurate information. In summary, if you know exactly what you need and where it is and have few enough items on your list to go through express check out-go for it. Otherwise, try the new free online pick up option where they just bring everything to your car and hopefully avoid the hassle.

Horrible service. I thought Wal-Mart was supposed to help build work experience, build on customer service. Apparently, you get what you hire. Its 12am.....nobody around the electronics area, finally I ask a floor cleaner for help. He found the gal working there and said shell be right there. Needless to say after 10 mins of waiting, I found her casually walking by with a stocking rack going away from where I was. I then see another employee somewhat of the managerial type and ask her for help. She turns to the original gal and says "Can you help a customer?", the gal replies "yes, Ill be right back" and continued to casually walk away. I told the manager Ive been waiting for a while now, her reply was "she said shell be right back".... I guess putting stuff away was more important than helping a customer obtain an item that was locked that would have taken all but 1 min, so they lost out on a $200+ sale. I left everything and walked out. Ill gladly go somewhere else.

Im done with Walmart. No ability to understand customer needs. Will not shop here again. SLOWEST cashiers on the planet. Never enough and they work at the slowest pace possible. Does this company not understand how to motivate employees how to work hard? They have the ability to look up a transaction using your credit card information but will not allow returns using this technology. Why would you purposely not use a fast and efficient method of purchase confirmation to help the customer? Done, will shop anywhere else. Just done.

I was profiled and acused of steeling for getting a few things that i need.. What a waste of time it ruined my day and will never think of the place the same... The asian manager or w/e was ruid even when i asked him a question when i walked in.. The secert shoper couldent be more obvious for what trying on a coat.. I feel like i should be compensated for the waste of time and insult.. I guess they dont want people to buy things

POS cancels transaction, saying "card cancelled by customer". no I havent. I switch to another card. same error. then transaction goes through on original card. I ask cashier & she says - oh thats been happening for months. WTF? is it fraud? is it broken systems? how is this even an option? I call the bank and they say the card transaction that cancelled hasnt even gotten through to them to decline.

I do not like that they display their Cosmopolitan magazines at every check out lane exactly at my childrens eye level. The weekly captions about HOT SUMMER SEX in bold large print is not family friendly. Ive asked them nicely to please place a cover over these magazines and they have not. Its weird how they cant see this as a basic customer service respect issue.

Yeah I went to the evil empire because I was so desperate for some Halloween stuff. WHAT A JOKE!!!!! Took me all dam day to find someone that worked in the fabric dept. THEN I went to check out and they had 3 registers going on Friday night with 50 people waiting total!!! Start up some registers you idiots!!!! Wheres the express.lane????? EVIL WALTONS!!!!!

just after 4:00 on a Friday and only 4 checkouts open. Not nearly enough. All checkouts had a line even self-service. The someone in a yellow vest brings a new hire to the checkout Im in to shadow and nothing is rung up as they have a conversation. My frozen pizza was defrosted by the time I drove less than 2 miles home. Going to Cub next time.

I have surprised my girlfriend time and time again with the vegan options available at this store. They have plenty of Gardein and Beyond Meat products in the freezers, a good tofu selection, and even gelatin-free jello. Otherwise, the store is clean and well run. The self-checkouts work nicely. Its always the first stop we make for groceries.

This is a very nice Walmart. Its clean and well kept, service is friendly and its always well stocked. Its a Supercenter, so it has pretty much everything you could want from health and beauty to toys, electronics, clothing, food, arts & crafts and more. Its great if you need a variety of items and dont want to stop at multiple stores.

Its Walmart. The place everyone loves to hate. Their prices are generally pretty good and you get almost anything there, so we usually end up there at least once a week. But if it werent for the self-checkout lanes, I dont think wed ever get out of there. They usually only have 2 other lanes open with long lines at each.

Typical WalMart as too size, stock, specialty shops - but it is well known to never have enough line cashiers, its not uncommon for me to find myself the 7th or 8th in line at the only personed checkout. The Pharmacy staff is fantastic - best group of any discount store Ive encountered in years - I totally trust them.
