I cant say enough good about Bytespeed. I have roughly 200 of their desktops and laptops in the building. Of those, 100 are in computer labs that are used by students all day, every day. I just replaced one lab and took the equipment that was 5 years old and replaced older classroom equipment with them because they run. Sure, some of them have issues, all tech equipment does. If it didnt, tech support people and I wouldnt have a job. The one thing that I can say about Bytespeed tech support is that they are always willing to help and will stay with a problem until it is solved. I have never had to talk to a machine and sit on hold for an hour. I have never had to argue with a tech support rep when I need a part. If I say its bad, its bad and a replacement is on the way. If I need to send something back, they pay the freight, fix the problem, and send the equipment back. Example: I just purchased 40+ M100 laptops. Some of them came with keyboards that werent working correctly. I called tech support. They sent me next-day-air call tags. I sent the machines back. They were repaired and shipped back next-day. I had them back by the end of the same week. Just last week, I had to re-image a desktop that the user had filled with malware. After joining our domain, I started receiving an error message from one of the drivers. I couldnt isolate the error so I called tech support. The rep and I couldnt isolate it so he asked to be allowed to remote into the machine. He stuck with me for an hour and found what was causing the error and then showed me in case I had it happen again. As far as Im concerned, it doesnt get any better than that. There is no computer that isnt going to have an issue now and then. Bytespeeds is no different from any other manufacturer. What sets them apart is their willingness to back their product. If you have a problem with Bytespeed Tech Support, its because youre not using them or youre not allowing them to help you.

My experience with Bytespeed has been great. Their equipment is excellent and their support is the best in the industry. I have been a K-12 tech director for over 25 years. I have purchased many different brands of computers over the years. In 2006 I was asked to try a Bytespeed computer. I did and found that they use only name brand components and no parts are proprietary. The motherboards have been Intel or Asus. The hard drives have been Seagate. SSD drives have been Intel, Seagate or Kingston. All their cases have easy access and are great to work in. Keyboards and mice have been Logitech. Any other component that is added into the configuration is name brand. I use their imaging service at no cost and it is wonderful. They do not have the big names like Dell and HP and that was one of my concerns. I wondered will they would be around tomorrow. I checked them out and found them to be a very solid company with millions in sells a year. I bought my first set of lab computers in 2007 and have bought nothing but Bytespeed since. They have been around for over 11 years and their future looks good. Their prices are competitive, equipment is first class and support is unsurpassed. My number one reason for buying Bytespeed is their support. I have never been questioned when I call them to replace, repair or send parts. I talk with a person right away and their support people are in the United States making it easy for me to understand them when I call. The second reason I like them is the quality of their equipment. The third reason is service and support even when computers are out of warranty. I would and do recommend Bytespeed to all my friends and those who have tried them like them just as I do. There are a very large number of schools in our state that use Bytespeed computers.

Our district has been buying from ByteSpeed for over 5 years and appreciate the American based company, support/warranty and sales team. I have worked for 20 years as the Technology Coordinator for our district and never had better support from a company. Always willing to build just the machine for your needs. The free shipping for purchases and repairs is a plus for schools. The American speaking, direct line to support is easy for school tech employees to work with to get quick answers to questions. Parts closets are readily available. For schools with small tech teams that needs extra hands, ByteSpped is always there to help support their product. Three year warranty on all laptops, and 5 years on Desktops. They make my job manageable and stand behind their products. Give them a try, youll be glad you did.

I have worked with Rich Hanson, and account manager at Bytespeed for many years. We have ordered desktops, laptops, servers, wireless access points and switches for our school district and have always been very pleased with our purchases. Any of our purchasing questions are taken care of and quotes are sent out immediately. The tech support is top notch! If they cant resolve a problem over the phone, they will get on the computer and see if it can be fixed remotely. If parts are needed, they are mailed out immediately or if a laptop needs to be sent back, they send the return mail form and it goes back at their expense and is returned quickly. I have many dealers that call that want to supply our technology needs and I always tell them, "You cant compete with what I receive from Bytespeed!"

As the technology director at Bluffton Schools in Ohio, we began doing business with Bytespeed several years ago replacing desktop computers in our high school and providing laptops for our HS teachers. We were predominately a large vendor school, but being intrigued by the lower cost for comparable hardware and the claim to provide more personal service we gave Bytespeed a chance. Since that decision, we havent looked elsewhere because Bytespeed delivers as promised. Their computers are very reliable and the few times we have had to call their tech support, the issues have been taken care of in a timely manner. It is so refreshing to call Bytespeed and have a real person answer the phone. When you try Bytespeed, you will feel like they are your partner, not just another vendor.
