Over the past 15 years, weve bought 1 couch, 2 chairs, 2 mattresses, 1 bed frame, and have had great service from the staff and the company. I had to have my first mattress replaced twice over 8 years. It was under warranty and Slumberland was great. I had to provide pictures of the dip and it was replaced. They didnt build the mattress, but they do represent the manufacturer and they were great. Just 2 weeks ago, we bought a reclining chair from Eric, and thought the color would look good in our family room. It doesnt. Our mistake. So one call later, after talking with Joseph, were getting the same chair in the darker color. No problems whatsoever. When we came into the store for the chair mentioned above, Eric approached us, we said "were just looking around right now" and he immediately stopped and said to come grab him if we find anything. Once we found the right chair, he helped us with the purchase. Eric was very friendly and respected our request to shop around unattended. When I called back to exchange the chair, I spoke with Joseph who like Eric was very friendly, checked inventory, put in the exchange request and said Slumberland will call us when the chair comes in. AGAIN, these guys are really nice to talk to and deal with. I understand every company isnt perfect, and things do go out of warranty. But after reading some of the other reviews, Im not one to complain if I have to drive back to exchange an item before Ive even called the store to see if the item is in stock or not. Thats not the stores fault. We enjoy Slumberland 100%, especially their prices, and will continue to visit and send our friends their way. Sincerely Jason Latts

Mama said thered be chairs like this... My mother warned me for years to not shop at Slumberland. I finally get it, but not until I spent almost $4,000 with them at this store. Bought a CalKing mattress with box springs and metal frame - mattress has developed two valleys within two or three months. Paid an extra $300 for the power-reclining version of a sofa because I was told the matching reclining chair only came in a power version, no manual option. Turns out, the salesman either had it completely backwards, or just outright lied. The chair ONLY comes in manual, so now I have a power sofa instead of the cheaper, preferred manual version. Also ordered a coffee table and end table. Two different styles of end tables were available; of course they delivered the wrong one. Ordered a rug, too. It was decent, but my recently-adopted cats have been working the yarn out. One thing thats not Slumberlands fault. Oh yeah, also a table lamp. Thats still working. Ive had to fight the mattress frame to keep it together. I ended up having to buy nuts and bolts finally, because the frame kept separating and the box spring would drop through. Tables, rug, and lamp are all fine. But the high-dollar items are garbage. Chair is okay, but the wrong type for what I was told. Couch is terrible - cant move it without it threatening to fall apart. This is the first time Ive bought from Slumberland. Coincidentally, its also the last.

The prices were decent and the furniture was in good style. Attentive customer service.. But a little too attentive when yhe sale man couldnt stop hitting on me. Got in professional when he informed me that I was fun to watch and should be a bed model . Ugh... Men can be pigs. He wouldnt have said those things if his boss or my boy friend where around. Fox was very peraiatant even after I informed him I was in a relationship. It is the customers position to try the bed comfort to see if they like it, but not the sellers job to try and sell the most expensive one. He did get a goos idea of what kinda bed I was into.. But the cuatomer service drove me out the door and I bought my bed at a neighbor store.

I purchased a bed for my son last week. Delivery was originally was scheduled for Friday, and it was then rescheduled for Saturday. I stayed home on Saturday only to not have the bed show up. The driver alleges he was here, but I was home all day and my phone never rang. I called to ask where the driver was and I was told he would call me back. I waited, and much to my amazement the driver never called me, but when I called back the delivery department was closed. When I asked for a refund and they tried to get me to call back the next day, but when I refused that, the phone connection magically disconnected in the middle of my sentence. Bang up job on your customer service Slumberland.

We purchased a bed from Slumberland 6 years ago only to have it break down and become uncomfortable a year ago. The mattress had a 10 year warranty. We paid $35 to have the mattress objectively inspected. It showed excessive wear and we were awarded a credit towards a replacement mattress. After picking out a new mattress of better quality and higher price, we were told that the new mattress would not come with an opportunity to try out the mattress for even one night, let alone the standard 90 days! This seems unreasonable. There was only a "business attitude" coming from management without any understanding other than standard were sorry".

I used a hundred dollar gift certificate and a 25 birthday gc from the company to buy a 130 dollar lamp. I picked it up from the store and opened it only to find it broken. I had to drive back bc they refused to deliver me a new one. When I drove back to minnetonka to return it I was told it would take six days to get a new one. I said I would like my money back and they refused to give me my $25 birthday card credit back. I could apply it to another purchase that would take six days to get it. Due to the hassel, I will never deal biz with them again.

My elderly mother was treated great while she was shopping and purchasing a top of the line mattress, unfortunately when she needed her sales persons help because the mattress was defective. He told me when I called him on her behalf "what can I do Im a sales person." Nice, I didnt realize customer service ended once the monetary transaction was over. Eric needs to take more classes on customer service

Slumberland is refusing to take back the platform bed frame that I bought from them in January. I sat down on the edge of the bed, the supporting slats gave way, and the mattress and I fell through to the floor. But its been more than 30 days, so its now my problem. Slumberland - please contact me if you care to rectify this situation.

The employees were very helpful and friendly. I didnt find what I was looking for at the store, so we ended up leaving. They did have many sofa, chair, and end table options which I was not expecting to find. Most individuals would think that they only sell mattresses.
