My Boyfriend was referred to this jeweler by someone that has been purchasing their jewelry for year.... so we thought this was a reputable busniess. My boyfreind Purchased an ENGAGEMENT ring through his friend that referred him to this jeweler. He got the ring but did not recieve one ounce of paper work about the ring, or what cut it was or the clarity... but he trusted this (rip-off) jeweler because his freind told him they were a good company. Now, My sister works for a large chaine Jewelry store here in Wisconsin. Zales.... We could have easily gone through my sister to get an engagement ring, but my boyfriend decided to give "Forest Jewlers", all the way out in Minnesota a try. When I got the ring I was more then excited because getting engaged to the man you love is what every womans dreams of. I was head over heals thrilled to have gotten such a beautiful ring from the man I love. 2 small weeks later I decided to take the ring into Zales, where my sister works to have it looked at because for some reason there was no paper work telling us about the ring and the diamond. If it was insured. What the Cut ro Clarity was, nothing. I had my sisters boss who has been in the jewelry business for 30 years look at my diamond under a microscope and to his his surprise.. the Diamond was FLAWED all over the place. My boyfriend did tell me how much he paid for the ring and the 30 year experienced Jewelry store manager broke the new to me that the ring was not worth what my now fiance paid. My heart broke to pieces. TO PIECES!!! 13 days later when sent the ring back to the jeweler and now he refuses to give us our money back...... I really feel bad for the woman that referred us to this place, she has been buying her jewerly from this "Forest Jewlers" for years. WE were ripped off and I recommend that no one purchased anything for the Jewelry store. Why would anyone sell something, like and Enagaement ring to soemone that has been waiting their whole life to get? You have crushed my dreams "Forest Jewlers"!!!!!

I ahd limited time a few years back to buy a ring, but wanted something different than the chain store junk. I got to go through a huge book to find exactly what I was looking for and he custom made and designed the ring for me in under a week. What a great service. My fiance then had a ring custom built for me with our own diamond. There is not another like it out there. Show me that at one of these stores in the mall that never stop having a sale...plus, they wouldnt have been able to touch the price. Forest Jewelers also gives back to the community they serve. My company had a fundraiser and they had no problem being a part of it. Customer for good here!

My fiancé went here per referral from a family member. He said the entire process was great, he designed the ring with Mike & my ring is perfect. Amazing thing is he put together my dream ring based off one of my Pinterest boards! Mike worked with him to make it within his price range. He had an appraisal done & got it insured with no problems like the other reviewers complaints. I brought it back to be sized & it only took two days! Cant wait to come back for our wedding bands.

They may have a modest collection and showroom but you cant beat the service. The owner does all the of repairs himself and is very experienced. I had a ring that needed to be brought down nearly two sizes with small diamonds down the sides on each side of the center stone. It was resized in a week at a VERY reasonable price and it was polished and sparkling more than ever. I am more than satisfied and will return.

Great service; great quality of unique jewelry. My hubby had MIke custom make a necklace for me and it is gorgeous. We also got my engagement and our wedding rings there. A small diamond fell out of my engagement rings two days before my wedding but Mike got it fixed on time. Over the years, I have bought many pieces of jewelry from Forest Jewelers and have never been disappointed!

My wife brought my grandfathers ring in for a simple solder repair. Upon return she found the stone ruined and the band bent. the setting came off all he managed to get done was the solder job. But at the cost of completely ruining a family heirloom.
