Just an FYI for anyone coming to this "outlet mall" who has to report something lost or stolen to security; dont even bother looking to security for help. My mom lost her wallet in the parking lot tonight, and I was told by a gentleman unloading boxes for the outlet to contact the outlet security to file a report. I called the outlets help line and sat through the automated message options, before pressing "6 for security". I then listened to a quick recording of the 24/7 security phone number; too quick for me to find a pen and write it down, of course. The line then went to a voicemail. I wasnt leaving a message, so I dialed the outlet helpline again, pressed 6, and waited, with a pen and paper this time, for the 24/7 security line. However, my second call was answered by a very bored sounding security woman. I told her the situation, and before letting me tell her that we lost it in the parking lot next to the Nike store, she quickly told me "I cant open any doors now, so you will have to come back in the morning". I proceeded to tell her that we had already called the last store we were in, and they didnt find it, so I was calling to file a report as I was told. She then asked the proper questions. What parking lot was it in and how long ago did it happen? I told her about 20 minutes ago, and in a shocked, questioning tone, repeated back to me, "20 minutes?!" I replied, "Well, we left the outlet, got to the Apple Valley Walmart, realized it was gone, and then came back. So yeah, 15-20 minutes ago." She then said, "Well, we havent had anyone drop anything off at Lost and Found within the last 20 minutes. Youll have to contact the police." Then the line went dead. Thats right, SHE HUNG UP ON ME!!! Im sorry, but I dont care if you arent able to help us, but the least she could have done is wait to see if I had any questions, or asked her if she could keep an eye out for the wallet in case someone does bring it in. Thankfully, my mom was able to cancel all her cards before anyone tried to use them, and the officer that helped us file a report was helpful and understanding.

Great addition to the middle of the metro, so its easier to get to than the outlets north, south, and west. The parking ramp is the best Ive seen, really high ceilings, nice to have coverage with our MN winters, and a lot of spaces. The stores are set up in race track flow and side by side. So if you go, park in the middle of the ramp on street level, then you can go in and take a right or a left, depending on the stores you want to visit. After making the first loop, it doesnt require much backtracking to drop packages off at the car. Back in and go the other direction to hit the other stores. The food vendors are quite busy based on not having many to choose from, so you may benefit from bringing snacks/cooler for the car. There is a McDonalds about two blocks down and a few smaller places in a strip mall on the other side of McDonalds, plus a nice sized convenience store and gas station. There were a couple of food trucks on site for the grand opening, it would be nice if they would be there on weekends, for more options. The traffic flow in is hard to avoid no matter which way you are coming from once you get off the highways. There is a metro station across the street at the far end of the mall, so it is more convenient to take metro transit than I thought it would be. I recommend studying the map prior to going, especially if you dont want to do the entire area, so you know where the stores are you want to visit. Wear comfortably shoes for sure! The entire walking space is not covered but there is some coverage, so if it rained, you would get wet! It will be interesting to see how it evolves and settles into the area!

Security guards arent pleasant or helpful at all. (Heavy set taller white guy & short oriental guy) I came out to my car after spending several hundreds of dollars at the outlet mall to a flat tire. My wife and I then turned around & went into the Polo store and asked if they could page security for us because we needed help. (My manual air put was broken along with my jack) When security arrived they told me that they didnt have any air that was it, but the look on his face said "you dont deserve help!" I asked if they could have a security truck meet us in the lot and they said yes, but itll probably be one of us. That vehicle never showed up! At 10pm we were still sitting in the parking lot typing this negative review. Yes were black, no we dont cause trouble, & yes we spent a ton of money at the outlet mall. I honestly dont believe in my heart that if we were white the outcome wouldve been the same. Sad reality smh. My wife works in the morning and has to be woke at 5am. Even if they truly couldnt help us at all they couldve put fourth some effort to help at least then we wouldve felt like they cared about our situation. The customer service was horrible & were very disappointed

My two daughters went to the Eagain Outlet for a day of shopping. Every store we went to (which we shopped at a lot of them) treated us great and everyone was very friendly and very helpful. Dohe to my mistake... I left three bags on the floor in the dressing room at White HouseBlack Market while sitting there waiting for my daughter who was trying on clothes. We didnt notice the were missing until we got home an 1 1/2 away and at 9 pm. We were sickened. The next morning my oldest daughter and I went back up hoping to find them. I told my family that I had faith that most people do the honest thing by tuning in lost items and Im glad I kept my faith. We checked a few stores and they checked for us with no luck. We stopped in White House/Black Market and there they were. The staff was AWSOME!,, they held our bags in backs hoping we would return. I cant enough about all the retailers and their awesome staff. Thank You!,, Denise T. Austin, MN

I used to get excited about outlet malls, especially this one. Its beautiful and its an outdoor mall. If I hadnt learned what I did recently this would have been a 5 star review. But alas whoever invented "if its too good to be true" knew what they were talking about. Upon shopping at the J. Crew outlet, while trying them on my husband noticed a significant quality difference in the shorts and t-shirts compared to our usual J. Crew store. Weird. So we didnt buy anything and started researching. Come to find out, outlet malls arent selling last years overstock. Theyre selling you lower quality branded goods made specifically for outlets. Research it for yourself. Also check out Coach and others. For those of you just looking to wear a label and dont care that youre still praying premium money for average quality, by all means, these outlets are for you. But Im upset and think the world needs to know.
