Im very disappointed in my purchase with becker furniture! ! I never realized it would be such a rat race when you purchase a sectional couch 3 reclining in this sectional couch. They got there 2800.00 cash on the spot the evening of the purchase. I would think for that price we would get a working couch. Well I guess not the day they deliver to us hook it up the delivery guys look at us and say oops this unit doesnt work you will have to contact the tech? ?? Excuse me we had to get a hold of them. That was the first joke for them to tell us we can take the steps to get it fixed. That wasnt going to happen we wanted a new piece it wasnt working before they got it here Im not dealing with issues from the start. So I was on the phone all night to have them get another one ordered. Great they said we will have it in a week. Another day I had to take off of my work time to get the working piece delivered. To arrive home in a hurry for the delivery guys the second time around say we dont have the right piece on our truck! !!! I Said WHAT you have to be kidding me this cant be happening but yes its real. So again both me and my husband on the phone trying to get this mess figured out correctly. Thinking when you spend a lot of money on something it should be in working condition right?. I was in tears not knowing b what to do next. So my husband made a phone call explained again to like the 4th person dealing with this situation. How Many Times Can A Person get the run around? By this time were pissed!! I kept talking to Nicole in becker because burnsville didnt know how to deal with any of this. This has been an ongoing situation getting old as anyone would. Finally today 10 - 5-15 our other piece was delivered in working condition. For becker furniture only to offer a 50.00 gift card you have to be kidding is this a dream? Ive never been this unhappy with any company! If it was my way they would have all there furniture back and I would go elsewhere the customer service was terrible all around. Trying to set up delivery times what a joke as I had to leave work early to get my none working furniture. Im thinking to write to the better business Bureau to make a negative comments about the way they handle things. Thinking to go onto the stored to tell people what I went through. Im sorry to day so many negative things but this was my worst experience ever!!!! For a company to say I can offer you only 50.00 after o spent over 2800.00 in your store??? Thanks for listening to me rant on my behalf of my sectional couch. Jessica

The salesman helped us to find a chair and ottoman that we liked. Thats where my positive experience ended. I let him know that we were going to buy it and he said we can either pick it up ourselves or have it delivered for the ridiculous price of $99. I have a smaller SUV so I asked for the packaging dimensions to see if I could save myself $99. The salesman proceeded to tell me he didnt know what they were and when I asked him if he could call somebody to find out, he flatly responded, "No." He put forth zero effort to meet the customers needs. I decided I could probably line up someone I knew with a truck to help me pick it up so I told him that we would go that route. He then said I needed to pick a day for pick up. I told him that would be difficult because I hadnt talked to anyone to find out if they could help me out and he got snippy with me and said to "just pick a day, youd have to pick a day if we delivered it." Needless to say, I was very unhappy at this point. After explaining again why it would be much easier for me to pick a day for delivery rather than pick a day for pick up because I would need to obtain outside help, he still didnt seem to understand the situation. I eventually picked a day and luckily my father is able to help me on that day so it all worked out but it is without any thanks to the salesman at Becker Furniture World. I understand that I obviously needed to give them a day for the scheduled pick up but it was the rude attitude and responses that I received to go along with the complete lack of understanding that made this such a horrible experience.

I wanted to like Becker- just so much. We purchased a Queen Stearns and Foster bed from there and a headboard. The bed has some elements of sinking, even after 3 months. Then, we purchased a $400 end table and a pair of $200 lamps. The lamps were a mess, after we took them out of the box. The shades were broken and the wire in the lampshade didnt even align with the shade. And, wires were broken. The base was alright but had a few scratches. We asked for them to trade out the shades or do a small partial refund so we can get other shades as the bases are fine. The end table, (the $400 end table,) came in a box, not put together. It was the quality, (except less) of IKEA. We asked to return the table and any fees that were associated with it. So, for 3 weeks, weve been trying to return a table. Becker, doesnt have the correct record, (that they can find) of the sale in the computer. So, theyve had to dig multiple times to find the table and lamps that we had issues with. Allison at the front desk is hopeless. (Sorry, Allison.) Every time weve called, shes taken our number to have the sales person call us back. (Havent gotten calls back.) And, she apparently inputted our information incorrectly as no one can seem to find this order. Sarah- the assistant manager, seems great. Shes been proactive and helped during a call today. But really, wed like this resolved. Buyer, beware. Poor construction and quality. Not worth the prices. Spent a bit more and get better pieces that will last. Unreal.

In short, horrible customer service and poor quality of furniture! We would NEVER recommend this place to anyone!! We bought a bedroom set for our master bedroom and a formal dining set back in November 2013. We were told at the time that we would receive the furniture by Jan 22, 2014 and we would be contacted to set up delivery for the furniture. January came around, we did not hear from Becker so we called to follow up on our order. We were told that the bedroom set was ready for delivery but the dining set has been back-ordered to Feb 22, 2014. We arranged a separate delivery to get our bedroom set on Jan 25, 2014. Within two weeks, we found that two of the wood sticks on the platform of our bed frame were broken. We called the customer service multiple times to try resolving the issue. The customer service is a pain to even get through. We left message on the voicemail and it takes an average of 5-7 business days to receive a return call. Today, I waited over 30 minutes on the phone to finally talk to someone and found out that our dining set has been pushed back further. We are now looking at getting the dining table in March 15 and the chairs are not going to be here until mid of April!! There was never an apology what-so-ever, let alone any follow-up on our order. We went Becker Furniture World thinking that with the price we paid for the furniture, we would have a hassle-free experience and quality furniture. WRONG!! There are definitely better places out there that deserve our business!! :(
