I think that the people who gave first few reviews must be thinking of a different place, because i have gone here for years drive out of my way to get there. mainly because of the service, the family. Always showing an interest in how my family and i are doing and making a point to remember us and keep us in mind. And the quality of their meat are also exceptional as well. Its hard to find places like this anymore in our world. these people with negative reviews must have walked in there with their own bad attitude and though the guys there would never say this so i will say it for them. they are straight to the point and are not out to kiss stuck up peoples behinds for there business. Shop there u will love them too.

I wish I could say I like buying my meat from this place, but unfortunately i cannot. On more than a few occasions Ive been sold the wrong meat I requested. I asked for a tender roast I got a chunk of meat that is supposed to be used for ground beef... My roast got tougher and tougher in the oven. Yesterday I asked for ribeye steaks and came home to see that it wasnt at all a ribeye. Meat was tough and not tasty at all. Ribeye should always be marbled with fat. This is only a few times that I am mentioning this. I will never ever buy meat from here and waste my time or money. Too bad these people are not honest. I will stick to going to eastern market and purchasing my meat that is great quality and affordable!!!

Ive been on/off shopping here for years. Their products (chicken/beef/lamb) are good, but their service is poor. It is strictly business for them, and based on the other few good comments on here, they may only be friendly to Caucasians or Middle Eastern folks - not Indians, etc... I brought my son there once, and they didnt even bother to acknowledge him and we were the only ones in the store. They went on chopping up the meat and looking up at the TV. They always do that to me - chop & look up at the TV, I thought they would at least say hi to my 2yr old. I am always uncomfortable going there and want to get out of there asap! Does anyone recommend any other places??

Best Butcher around... I drive 20 Miles for his Kibbie Meat... If your fragile, then dont shop here... He is so nice and very to the point, so if you are one of those that think the Butcher in Brady Bunch is going to serve you... youre wrong.... Great meat, and the prices are written on a board right over the whole back wall... so ignore the posts that say there is no price... I am a WHITE GUY... EX-Special Forces Soldier and his prices and service are perfect... loves to talk about his family... loves to hear about youre family.... Top Notched place

Very bad meat shop. I have not seen this rude ppl in this country. They really dont want any business. Zero at customer service. I donno how this shop even exists. Very bad arab people I have ever seen in this country. Never even thought of buying anything from these butchers. They could not even show the courtesy to show what all meats they had, when asked for. Guys, dont ever buy anything from here.

I have been to this place for few times and every time they gave me the chicken that was little reddish.which means it is not fresh rather sitting in the freezer for a while. Chicken is fresh when it looks pinkish. I moved to Troy so bought chicken here few times before finally deciding on driving extra miles to other halal meat places than be sold old stock. Hate this place.

Please do not go by the negative ratings. The butcher and his sons are very friendly, courteous and respectful. Their meat is of very top quality and at very good prices. I travel from Southfield to Sterling Heights for their meat and their service. These guys are great and they continue to have a loyal customer in me.

Their products are fabulous and so is their customer service!! They always have everything neatly packaged for us when we arrive and they always greet us first when we open the door! Im pretty sure everyone in Michigan is spoiled by having their pick of butchers, but Ill probably never get my meat from anywhere else! :D

I have always had a good experience (with the exception of a few errors) at Jouni. The guys that work there are courteous and to the point. I have no complaints. I do wish that they would carry fresh deli meats.

Very bad meat shop. They have us mutton which was smelling and when we complained they refused to do any thing. Worst people and very rude. Dont buy from there go to Akbar marketplace instead.
