I was just at this location, purchasing many things, including a pair of sneakers. The manager, who was working the register, looked at the shoes, priced $6.99 with a tag color that gave me 50% off, from all sides and angles. She looked very suspicious, and then went on to pick at the tag to see if it was loose. It wasnt loose, but she proceeded to pulling the tag off, claiming we dont price our shoes on the bottom like that. When the tag was off one could clearly see how the sole was dusty around the spot where the tag had been (so it had been on for a substantial time). I was accommodating and attempted to point that out, fill her in on where I found the shoes, and offered to go back to the section to show her other shoes labeled similarly. She declined all input, had decided I was a criminal, even checking my ten dollar bill to see if it was fake. I chose to write this review as this incident happened with the manager, which most likely impacts the daily business of the store a lot.

Almost no appreciation for customers who are regulars who go there and frequent there a few days a week. I fill up my cars by spending a lot of money with them and they show almost no appreciation and lost future sales over one jacket. I never haggle price says but when your customers are interested in an item and its not priced out well you have two problems: A.) youre losing future business and the overall sale that was going to be made. B.) your workers/help ovbiously dont know what theyre doing when theyre putting out items that ARE NOT TAGGED. Why have a policy of not selling any non tagged items when half your store isnt tagged??? Obviously the people running the store have no idea what theyre doing with the business. Probably why theyre at Salvation Army .

HORRIBLE customer service, listen ive been in the restaurant business for over 7 years and when customers walk in 5 to close i serve them with the up most respect some cases knowing i wont get tipped why? Cause its my JOB. These rude women get snappy and bitchy to long time customers. Ive talked to two managers and both times they assured me it wouldnt happen again well i tried it again tonight and im done! Never again! Ill waste gas to goto 15 and gratiot and ill tell everyone! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND ENERGY FOR THESE LAZY LOW LIFE IDIOTS WHO SHOULD NOT BE EMPLOYED! I hope one day they come in to where ever i work and im going to treat them EXACTLY THE SAME! i advise anyone to stay away from13& harper salvation army.

First time I went there was today-on a Friends suggestion and Im glad I did! Not only was the store SUPER CLEAN AND ORGANIZED but the staff their including the managers were very friendly, efficient, and fast! Deanna was the person that rung me up and she was great-with a smile in her face and making conversation along the way! I got some great finds and a wonderful experience today and I will most definitely be back soon! Keep up the great work! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Definitely the worst salvation army of my life. Prices are ridiculous for everything, especially things that are so filthy and torn they never should have made it to the floor. Store is always dark and you feel dirty being in there. Staff seemed more interested in their own conversations than trying to assist anyone. Dont waist your time here, drive a few miles to the one on Gratiot near 15.

Huge store with lots of clothing and brick brac. The shoe collection and furniture are not as premium as the Rochester Hills location but they do have a ton of kitchen appliances, seasonal decor, and dishes by color. Checkout was fast and friendly. They run daily specials so be sure to stop by frequently for a bargain.

I mistakenly dropped off a burgandy pouch with valuable jewelry. I called a few days later and no one at the store was willing to help. I have contacted them every couple of months with no luck. They dont even try to help me or try to search for my items. Not very Christian way to treat someone.

Some very rude people shop here. Ran my wifes feet over with a cart. Pushed her out of the way to snatch clothes. Talk smack about her because they think shes Asian and "dont talk English" yes, they said, "dont talk english" workers all seem to be OK with the bad behavior of the customers.

I have shopped at all of the SA stores around this area and this one is one of my faves. The staff is by far the nicest and always seem to be happy. I have found awesome stuff here and will always go here first. The prices are the best, too.

I prefer the store on Gratiot near 15 mile. This particular store didnt seperate clothes by size, just color. It took me a lot longer to find what I needed. Also, the staff was ok but not as helpful and nice as the other store.

The sales people are very friendly and helpful! And I love shopping with Christian music playing. There is always so much to choose from and so easy to find what I want easier, by just going to the to the colors I like.

Good place to score some nice new yarn for cheap if you knit/crochet. They would probably sell a lot more vinyl if they organized it better and tossed out the 100s of scratched up Christmas albums.

Always can find the clothing I need for my children. Good variety. And can find the clothes I need for myself. Especially love their half off sales on all the clothing they throughout the year.

It has a good selection and good sales, but this particular location has awful lighting. Its like shopping in the dark- you need to pull out your flashlight to see!

Its a great place to find some neat things. Its a little chaotic, but it makes finding that one item you didnt even think of so rewarding.

You gotta know how to shop : half off clothing sales, 5 for $5, even stuff that has the original tags on it, never worn!

Find hidden treasures at this location, not the biggest or best organized but the electronics are usually the best.
