These people are so nice to deal with. My 95 year old father recently passed away. He had a fairly large coin collection that had far more sentimental value than monetary value. I had done quite a bit of research myself and spoken to a few other coin dealers prior to calling Jason at The Coin Shop. When I finally separated out what I knew had some value from the immense amount of coins that were only worth face value, I took everything in to The Coin Shop. Jason and his wife spent close to four hours sorting through the collection explaining as he worked how he was separating the silver that was worth the weight value from coins that had value because of their rarity or collectible value. Everything he said backed up what I had already discovered on my own. While we were there for the better part of a day, several customers came in, either to buy or sell items. Most of them were on a first name basis with Jason as well as a few others who were there for the first time. He was courteous, friendly and patient with all them despite the fact that we had come on very short notice with a large collection that he was diligently trying to work through. This interaction with his customers gave me further confidence that Jason was the one we could trust to give us an honest price. Other places we had been to or talked with had more of a "pawn shop" feeling. It was hard to let Dads coin collection go but it had to be done to settle his estate. I am so glad that we found this place.

Pay attention coin nerds. This is hands down the best coin shop in the area. The owners are horrendously kind, fair and educated. The prices are exciting, the shop is clean organized and fun to go through. Yes they have bullion for the bullion hoarders however what makes it fun is the aged coins and that makes it special. We went there to part with some of our collection and spent an hour plus hanging out with the owners and it was great. They bought our coins at great prices and the entire visit was a pleasure. If you have old coins and you want to sell them or maybe your missing a piece or two from your own collection, go here first. They really are the friendliest, warmest family oriented coin collector shop I have ever been to.

In my opinion the owner is dishonest My son took his coin collection in there to be appraised not to sale Owner took 60 silver quarters and four silver dimes gave him $108 My Son came out to the car to tell me what happened I told him to go back inside and get his collection owner informed him that in the time that it took him to get to the car and back he had sold the collection and would not give him his coins back Took the coins behind the counter to appraise gave him cash back instead Of his coins As far as the people saying he has good prices make a couple phone calls see his silver prices are more expensive than anywhere else in the area

This is a nice place and the guys that run the store are great. I brought my kids in and they took time to help me find the right stuff to help get my 8 year interested in collecting. They had coins from 0.05 cents to the more expensive stuff. I bought my boy a few coin folders, a couple less expensive coins and a coin price book. Jason, one of the owners took time to explain things to both of us. If you have a collector in the family or just want to introduce your kids to some history this is a great place.

I ended up going here after I tried 2 other places, both of which did not exist. Not only did a find this place to be real, but they have a pretty nice shop. Lots of coins and currency and the guys that run the place are pretty cool. I got a great deal on some Morgan Dollars and I was very happy with all the prices. Buying or Selling I would certainly recommend this shop to all of my friends and family.

The Coin Shop is one of the best coin shops in the entire state of Michigan. Me and my dad go there at least once a month and always find what were looking for for more than reasonable and affordable prices! This is a must stop on your check list for coin shops to check out if youre ever in the area, you will never be dissapointed!

I have been a collector for many years and have been to a lot coin shops in my days. This one is now at the top of my list, these guys are fair and have great prices on coins. Silver is priced below what I can get it for online. The shop is full of great deals and you dont have to look hard for them.
