I WILL DEFINITELY COME HERE AGAIN! Ray worked with me for days after other dealerships laughed at my face when I tried to finance a car. They are nice when they think you have more money but when you are struggling a bit their whole demeanor changes and they become rude. I was referred to this dealership from a friend whose family has been getting cars from this dealership for 15 years. I can see why they referred their family members to Rays Auto. I never seen a dealership care about their clients so much. The second I mentioned my friends name, Ray knew exactly who he was and which car he had sold him 12 years before! I was shocked. Ray treated me like a family member and listened to my personal situation unlike every other dealership I went to that just treated me like a number in line. He is very down to earth and at the same time professional and honest. After I had almost lost hope on financing a car I was relieved to get a great car from him after him going back and forth with the finance company. Ray had so much knowledge about cars he guided me which cars were reliable or not whether I got the car from him or not. How many dealers care about your personal well being as opposed to just selling a car? Most dealerships are busy from advertising but Ray hardly does any advertising but stays in business so long from word of mouth. My wife just got a car from him too and we are both very happy. I never take the time to write reviews whether they are good or bad but I had to in this case. If you want a reliable car from a trustworthy man, go see Ray. He will take care of you no matter what your situation is because he is a family man and understands people are going through hard times. Thanks Ray!

I purchased a vehicle from Rays in August 2014 and had a good experience. Yes, he sells used cars, and yes, as with any car dealer, it is up to you the buyer to figure out if you are getting a good car or a bad car. All used cars could have issues, if you dont know a lot about cars then take it to your mechanic to be checked out. I test drove 4 vehicles off the lot. Some had issues right away that even a non car person could detect. He offered to fix the issues but I ended up buying a vehicle from him that didnt have any major issues. I would recommend this car lot to anyone including friends and family. I personally value dealing with a owner a lot more then dealing with a series of salesmen, finance mangers, etc. And I like keeping my money in Michigan, I always prefer locally owned businesses versus a car lot where the profits go to a out of state or out of country business/person.

Im writing this review 1 year after I bought my car, and I still love it. After looking around for weeks at both dealers and private owners and having my mechanic find issues with every car I brought in, I finally found Rays. The salesmen there are straightforward and are willing to be honest about cars that will and will not last. (They actually steered me away from a couple of more expensive cars to one that they thought would be more practical for me, and Im glad I listened.) The car I found was a complete steal in comparison to the prices of similar cars at other dealers. Ive had my Jetta for a year now and the only thing Ive replaced is the windshield wipers. I would (and have) HIGHLY recommend Rays to anyone who needs a car.

colton, i was very surprised to see your review of rays auto. down payments and loan rates are based on credit. that is true everywhere you go. you could have gotten the truck you wanted for $995 down, based on your past credit. you didnt have any cash to put down. you were using only your trade-in, and rays auto was willing to give you much more than what it was worth just to make the deal happen and to make you satisfied. and yes there is financing for everybody, provided that you have the down payment required for the vehicle of your choice. i bought a car that was advertised at $895 down. but because of my messed up credit, i had to put down $1700. i expected that

This company is garbage do not buy a car from them. Do not buy from this dealer. They need to be investigated for fraud....They are washing titles and selling salvage cars as if they never been in a accident. Also I believe they are selling fake insurance. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER....RESPECT YOURSELF! You work hard for your money so do not be swindle by these low life people here at Ray Auto in Royal Oak on main street. Beware they are changing the name shortly.....The location will be same though.....Im just glad I did my research and did not buy a car from these Bums.....I use to sell cars for a new dealership and I know when I see crooks in the business

went there to try to buy a new truck. said i could get financed and only put $995 down. they offered me practically nothing for my trade in and said it needed things that it didnt need. they couldnt get me financed for the truck they told me i had to have over $4000 dollars down when the ad said $995 down dont go there they will try to rip you off only one decent person works there. i sat there for 2 hours waiting on them to tell me i couldnt get it when they say they finance everybody.

They dont cover your warranty like they say they would and they dont take responsibility for their actions. They cars are not 100% my sensors was all jacked up and wires had a shortages. I believe this company is a fraud and everyone need to know what theyre getting into before purchasing a vehicle.

Sell really bad cars that used "bandage repair", and it would cost a lot more after buying a "clean titled vehicle" from them, which also had been a severe accident. NEVER TRUST THEM! BE CAREFUL!!

Had a car break down three days after purchasing it, they refused to help with getting it fixed, even splitting the cost or to cancel the transaction. Do not trust these cars!
