This business has terrible business ethics. I was hired under the table so the owners could avoid certain taxes and insurance and when I gave notice that I was leaving they refused tp pay me the whole amount I was owed for time I worked saying I was never an employee. The owner Deb and her daughter are rude and blamed me as well as their delivery driver for their own thoughtless mistakes and failures even if we had nothing to do with the issue. All in all they are passive aggressive people and that makes working for them very difficult. It took everything I had to keep a smile on my face dealing with them every day. On subject of their product- they buy quite a few of their gift items from Christmas Tree Shops and mark up the items way above value. The rest they buy online and do the same, marking up the price. Save your money and shop elsewhere especially for sympathy items. Their flowers arent the worst but they do have a few practices concerning their flowers which make them die more quickly including leaving the flowers out of the cooler to open up which can greatly reduces the life of the flower meaning arrangements you buy from this shop may not last as long as other shops. Plants with fresh flowers in them for funerals have all dead flowers in them that are weeks old. The owner offers this as a "courtesy". Do yourself a favor if you are thinking of working here and steer clear. Buy your gift items somewhere else to avoid being ripped off.

My order was not like the picture on the internet. It was a nice brown basket with two purple African violets in it. When I saw my order at the funeral home, it only had one African violet in the cheap white basket. The African violet was pink and not the purple that I saw in the picture. When I called to tell about what I got, the woman said that she told me it may be different from what I saw on the internet. She did not tell me that on the phone when I ordered. Also, she said that there was 2 violets in the basket and maybe someone from the funeral home took one out. Then she said " Were done with this conversation." I will never order from this business again. This person is very bad for business!

Worst experience EVER! I purchased flowers for my fathers funeral. When I went to pick up the flowers, the colors were not what I had expected. I asked the worker about it, the she said that is what I had ordered. It wasnt what she said, but how she said it in an incredibly rude manner. I said that was fine, and I would take the flowers. I paid for my purchase. Then she followed me around the counter as I walked out the door, and she loudly said, "Have a NICE DAY!" I was in total shock that someone could be so cruel to another human being on such an awful day. I will never purchase from this flower shop again.

I went in to purchase two bouquets, and I specified the three kinds of flowers I wanted: roses, stock, and snap dragons. I received two mixed bouquets that included flowers that I do not like, such as carnations and daisies. The flowers may have been appealing to many purchasers, but I asked specifically for the flowers I liked, and did not ask for the ones I do not. One of the bouquets had no roses; the other had one rose. I would have preferred to spend more money, or buy a smaller bouquet and have it be something I like than to spend a set amount of money and be disappointed by the flower choices.

Out of state so went online to order, called to make sure it could be delivered next day...they had a different basket - I said no problem, didnt have azalea - they have kalanchoe or ivy. I said no problem, use kalanchoe. What I ordered for $75 & what was delivered looks about 1/2 the price! Very disappointing! What they didnt know was that someone was going to send me a pic of what I ordered! I am a business owner and I deliver what people pay for....what a shame!

I have ordered directly from this shop many times for mothers days and birthdays-my mom lives in Rockwood and I love supporting local businesses. Over the last 2 years all of the arrangements that have been sent to my mom are worth half the price paid. A few carnations, lillies, and daisies in a mason jar does not amount to $70-not even close. Unfortunately I will be trying another florist as I feel I have been very ripped off by this place too many times.

I have placed several orders with Rookwood Flower shop. Not only have the orders been correct, they went above and beyond. My wife and daughters that I ordered flowers for was completely in awe. The service is beyond what you would expect. And the people who work there go out of their way for the customers.

The flowers we bought for a funeral I hand picked and was delivered the night before to the funeral home. However, the funeral home gave our arrangement to the wrong family. Everyone at the Rockwood Flower shop went above and beyond to find out what happened to the flower arrangement we bought.

I highly recommend this place! its a fun little shop that offers more than fresh flowers they have all kinds of stuff for your home and holiday decorations.. I have to stop in at least once a month to get something new Keep up the good work!
