I am a current employee. I have worked for ATR for almost 2 years. I have kept my head down, done my job, and watched a lot of things happen. Recently even more has happened I cant believe it. I have ignored the fact that theres mold and unsafe work conditions. I have taken the managements unorganized way of approaching even the slightest bit of change. They are quick to fire and never train. You are expected to know your job immediately with no training or little that has no impact. Recently - there was a chance for others to move up in the company and job postings were released. It has come to the employees knowledge the person who received this promotion did so because she slept with the owners (married with 4 children,) son and out of fear of her suing (as she stated to many employees,) was given a promotion. She has worked her less than a lot of us. She recently came to visit our facilities and hit on multiple other associates and now we all fear for our jobs. The family that runs ATR acts as though they are something special and that we should all bow down and worship. If you are not in the "inner" circle you arent worth their time or effort. They parade around in diamonds and Ferraris while we can barely make it paycheck to paycheck. Meanwhile, if you are willing to sleep with your manager you can go somewhere. Thatll never happen for me. I guess Ill keep my head down, get my paycheck and continue to watch this place fall to the ground.

If you get a job here, be sure not to say anything. Keep your head down, and dont tell any jokes until after your probationary period. I got fired after 3 weeks because I made a joke about my extensive degree and how I ended up there, jokingly, with another co worker who did the same. Everyone was amused until all of a sudden my boss wasnt. Even though he found it amusing before I was let go. Otherwise, the job is actually great! I loved working there. Just keep your head down!

Dealing with ATRecycle is always a positive experience. Its a family owned business with caring employees and great customer service! It may have started out small, but ATR is quickly growing, making great strides and setting the standards for R2 Certified Electronics Recycling! 5 Stars!!
