WARNING: this is an extremely shady downright scamming business. they mysteriously have over 4 stars now. they deleted all the bad reviews including my review below somehow. Very shady! Do NOT go here. Go to the one on Dix in Lincoln Park instead. They messed up two very important things for my dads phone. 1. They told him they couldnt port his tracfone number (porting means to move your phone number from one carrier to another). Thats awful if someone would think they had to lose their phone number because Melvindale metro pcs cant port it. It is a US law that carriers port someones number for them. 2. They said his iPhone 5c was "locked" to Verizon. Again they were completely wrong. In fact, by default all iPhone 5c phones from Verizon are unlocked! Went to Lincoln park metro pcs and they ported his number fine and said his phone wasnt locked. I just feel really bad if someone who doesnt know these things gets the wrong info from Melvindale metro pcs and think they have wasted $150 on a locked phone and cant keep their number that theyve had for years. Horrible.

Watch out a thief works here! My mother in law went to this store two different times to get new phones. The first time she went in the man removed her 64 GB SD card and placed it in his drawer. She asked if she needs that and he said no. She got home, I started setting up her phone and noticed it was gone. We went up there together to get it and he says "oh you forgot this here." We left without saying anything about it. She went back today to get a new phone again. She gave me her new phone to set up and again the 64gb SD card was missing from her old phone. Her son went back up there with her to get it back and he told him "dont try to say I stole this". He pulled it out of his drawer and he gave it back. Its obvious that this man has no conscious and is taking advantage of people who do not understand technology.

This store is the newest looking metropcs store i have ever seen in michigan.. it is fully remodeled and the staff there are great i went in to grab subway next door and noticed the purple led lights that flow throughout the whole store i ended up upgrading my phone because it was slowing down and freezing on me but i wasnt sure what phone to get and the gentlemen there helped me decide my perfect fit they were very proffesional and i loved their customer service they explained everything clearly which is the main reason why i upgraded and i wasnt even planning on it!! Great service!!!!!
