The salesman we worked with was fantastic. In fact, while buying a chair at another store, we found the same recliner sofa. We could have gotten the recliner sofa at this other store sooner, but decided to order it from Art Van because of all the work that the salesman did for us. When the sofa was delivered, there was some damage to the fabric. It took a couple long calls, but we were finally able to re-order a new sofa without having to schedule someone to come over to inspect it to see if it could be fixed. 1. I didnt want to sit around during a 3 hour time span waiting for an inspector. 2. It wasnt fixable. 3. It wouldnt have mattered what the inspector decided - we paid quite a bit of money for a new piece of furniture, so it needed to be replaced. It needs to look great - and new. The reason for two stars is this: we received a call four days ago saying they have our replacement sofa and need to schedule a delivery date. We set it for Wed, Nov. 16, and I would hear from them the day before for the usual 3 hour delivery time frame. Today is the day before , and they didnt call, so I called them around 7:00 PM. Were not on the schedule, and they cant put us on because they cant do next day delivery. Huh? So I rearranged my whole day (because you dont know until the day before what your 3 hour delivery time span will be), they screw up and dont put us on the schedule, they wont add us to the schedule for tomorrow but can deliver on Saturday if we like (so no plans for Saturday now, until we know when our stinkin 3 hour delivery time span is. We find that out, of course, the day/night before. I just hope theres no damage to the sofa...we wont be going through this for another replacement.

I went to Art Van a couple weeks ago and was not happy with my experience. I usually shop at Big Lots for furniture but decided to give them a try. Furniture: Everything there looks great and feels a lot better/sturdier than that of a place like Big Lots. And the pricing is around the same, so you cant beat that! Plus with the leasing, layaway, and sells options, you get one heck of a deal. Customer Service: No. There wasnt any human beings there. By that, I mean all the sales people were vultures. I wasnt in the store for 15 seconds before someone was hounding me. At first it was fine, he was telling me about the deals and sales, but from that point on, I could not look at one item without him bugging me and urging me to buy something. It came down to me sitting on a 2000$ living room set with him getting 5 different people (managers, leasing experts, etc) to try to get me to buy when all I had wanted to do that day was look around. I made that clear, too. I dont know about the other sales people but this guy was a vulture and I hope you dont run into him. Overall: I liked the furniture and the pricing, but I am more likely to get my furniture from another place like Big Lots, since they are not constantly on my back about buying something.

My husband and I went in wanting to get a new mattress. We have a rather large tempur-pedic that was no longer meeting our needs, and explained to Brad that we needed something more firm. We explained our situation and that we needed to stick with a budget. We also discussed our back pains that we had been experiencing. He showed us around a few beds and quoted a few prices and we said thank you and left. Brad was not only respectful of us and our budget, but he was not pushy. We ended up coming back the next week and purchasing our split king, king coil with adjustable bases for both. We are so happy with our purchase. I went from sleeping and waking up every few hours in pain, to sleeping an entire night and waking up with NO pain. I was a stomach sleeper and now that I have my adjustable base, I stay off my stomach. I havent been to my Chiropractor in 2 weeks because I just feel AMAZING! Thank you Brad. You are definitely an asset to the Art Van team!

Purchased an expensive adjustable bed from Art Van last fall. Since then I have noticed spots on the base and mattress. BED BUGS. I was not sure what they could be until we began to realize they were blood spots and saw bugs moving. The base of both beds were covered with BED BUGS where the fabric was attached to the wood frame. Calling Art Van did no good. While I can not prove these beds are where they came from, Art Van is positive they did not come with the beds. I am not sure how they can be so sure they didnt. I can not return the beds so now I have to pay an exterminator over $1,000 to get rid of them. Again Art Van will not help in any way. I only had 7 days to find them and return the beds. My suggestion is check anything delivered to your home from Art Van very carefully as soon as it arrives and before signing for anything and the delivery people leave.
