Hi, were the Talberts.......two months ago we started a journey in searching for a used but newer car for myself...since Im a stay at home wife (and would need something good & dependable). We ran into the same issue at all the dealerships we visited, called, email & etc. Either the vehicles were gone and they would try to sell us something that wasnt worth having or try to force a new vehicle on us. Finally, on the 14th of October...me and my husband visited a dealership we found online for a used vehicle that had a great mileage, fairly new and also with a car fax report with it......with a lower price of almost 2,500 from the blue book value listing price. Unfortunately, we arrived and the car was getting sold.....but there was something very different about this one particular car salesman that went above and beyond to find us something and he just wasnt your normal salesman....he appeared to be family and we were attached to him instantly. Never did he try to force us into anything, nor try to sell us something that wouldnt be useful in what we were planning to use the vehicle for. My husband and I were assisted by Robert "Rob" Pendel, he worked with us and he went through the whole process as we started the financing options, the warranties, the car itself and all the gadgets. It touched our heart because we have been trying so hard and felt other dealerships were not interested in treating us fairly nor did they care about our intentions or goals as to what we were looking for. So, he was a gift from or God. But, it didnt stop there...he then introduces us to the finance manage Jerald Krzeszk. upon arriving Robert explained to us once again the process of what will taken place meeting with Mr. Krzeszk. through that whole process, Rob was back and forth checking on my husband and I and also leading us to a break room, where me and my husband received massages in the massaging recliners and enjoyed complimentary snacks while we waited. Our experience was awesome and we thank and pray for the continuing growth of Szott Dealerships. Please visit one of their locations and getting treated like the family the family you are to them. We thank Szott M-59 Dodge for all the wonderful work your sales and finace teams have done for me and my husband. I can now be excited and have that feeling of safety, with my new car. Good Jobs guys and Big Special Thanks to "Mr. Robert Pendel" & the finance manager Robert referred us to Mr.Jerald M Krzeszak. You guys are great. We thank you again and we love you. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience here. So much so that I wont send any family/friends at all by the way we were treated. We stopped by on a Saturday to look at two different vehicles. Ed approached us to help. His attitude from the start seemed like he was annoyed he had to help us and was irritated. He shook my husbands hand but didnt even acknowledge me or ask my name, so at first I thought that was rude especially since the vehicle was for me. Secondly, he didnt seem to know his inventory. I asked for a Jeep or Journey and said I wanted leather...he started going up to all his Jeeps/Journeys on the lot and looking through the windows saying, "nope, no leather... not this one either, nope" and then said he doesnt have anything. Instead of saying something like he can look to see if he can get something in or even asking me more questions if I had time to wait, etc. I then told him that I am not in a hurry to buy and can wait to get something that fits my criteria but I would really like to test drive a Journey and Jeep to get a feel so I can see which one I like better. He then said they dont like when people drive the vehicles b/c that puts miles on the cars and depreciates them and so people can drive what they will buy. And then asked me which one I will buy. I told him how would I know what I am going to purchase unless I drive the vehicles? I wanted to go down the road for a test drive, not take this on a journey across the US. Ive NEVER heard a dealership deny someone a test drive and say it puts miles on the car. That was absurd. Buying a car is a big purchase. Im supposed to spend $30k but am not allowed to drive the car? He then went inside then came back out and said, "they said you could drive it." Im not sure who they is or if he just decided to let us drive the Jeep. He asked if we would "be long" with it. Just rude all around. We took the Jeep and really liked it. We came back 10 minutes later and I had my husband go inside and drop off the keys while I waited in the car to leave since I was appalled by the sales persons attitude and demeanor. Im not sure if this is the reputation this dealership has and its unfortunate we had this bad experience from Ed, so much that we wont go back. It was a waste or our time and gas money to drive here we felt. Ed ruined our experience at Szott and gave it a bad name for us.

Update 8/3/2015: The sales team is still OK with me, however; I am downgrading my original 5 stars to 3 instead. The office lost my new license plate. I called to verify when the new plate was going to be mailed to me. I was informed by my sales guy Brian V that they had received my plate, but somehow misplaced it. They could not tell me if it was mailed to me or not because there was no tracking. Keep in mind that my temporary plate was expiring within 2 days and it was on a Friday when I called them. I was informed that I now needed to go the Secretary of State to request a new plate. What kind of service is this???? Early Saturday morning I go to the S.O.S only to find the line is seriously wrapped around the building. I had absolutely no choice but the wait because again my temporary plate was expiring the next day. I waited one hour outside and another hour inside. I even called Brian V to express my frustration, but was sent to voicemail. Thankfully I was able to get another plate. I had to pay an additional $5.10. I know its only $5.10, but the dealership never reached out to me to apologize or anything. Later that day the mail came. Guess what was in the mail!!!! The plate that Szott M59 had originally misplaced. Turns out they mailed it, but didnt know it. Ridiculous! Original Post: If you are looking for an awesome dealership then look no further than Szott M59 Dodge. The atmosphere is lively! Usually when buying a car I am stressed out to the max, but not this time. My salesperson, Brian V, was easy to work with. Hes professional, but not that stuffy type of professional. He answered all of our questions without hesitation. The sales manager Ron was cool to work with as well! Just all around good personable people. Now on the reason for our visit...the CAR! We purchased Nissan Altima. Let me tell you this car was CLEAN, LOW MILEAGE, with a phenomenal price tag! To make my experience even better the car was low on gas so Brian threw in a Meijer Gas Card. Fantastic!!! If youre shopping make this your first stop. They will work with you!
