This is my go to tattoo shop and the place I recommend to everyone. I got my first two tats here, quickly followed by my next six. I have been tattooed by everyone working at Steel. They all have their own unique styles, and theyre all professional and extremely talented. If you want a unique tattoo, with the best results, go in, get a consult and tell them what you want and let them work up a design. Eric Clark is a savant with photoshop, and is able to see things most people dont. His compilation pieces are amazing. Travis Whites tattoos are beautiful, precise, and crisp. The Japanese style that he loves is one of a kind and I would highly reccomend getting one from him. Brent Davis blew me away with the piece he did for me. I asked for a torch to go on my spine, with a death theme. I got a call a week later to come in a check out the design, and it was the most intricate thing Ive ever seen. All drawn out by hand, Brent is old school, and his black and white pieces are phenomenal, and my personal favorite. Cassi does pretty sweet traditional tattoos, I have four from her. That speaks to to her talent. John Kiesling is still in training but based on the art hes got hanging in the shop, and the stuff Ive looked at, I cant wait until hes full time. Ive never had anything pierced but Jillian knows her stuff. Shes a great piercer and always smiling. Good art costs money and they charge fairly here for the work done. You get what you pay for with these artists. The shop is clean and the staff is friendly. These people can be your best friends, just have some respect for the art they create, and have some fun. Dont come into the shop with a bad attitude.

Honesty the worst experience i have EVER HAD getting a tattoo. Beyond over priced, charged me 100$ for a small tattoo that was just an outline. There was no shading, nothing hard, literally just a simple outline of a flower, how could they mess that up? WRONG. The lines are crooked, he got aggravated when i asked him to adjust the tattoo(weird its going to be on my body forever id like it to be perfect) and when i asked for minor adjustments he seemed like it was the end of the world. AND THATS NOT ALL. He CUT into my skin. Not just the needle making me bleed, he actually trenched out my skin so now im going to have scaring for the rest of my life on my arm. Thank god i know an amazing tattoo artist that can fix this mess because it is honestly AWFUL. Would NEVER reccomend to anybody. Would actually tell them to steer clear of this place and their unexperienced and overpriced "artists".

*tried to post this on the fb page and got BLOCKED. Now I know why the shop has 4.9/5 stars!* Shop is clean and nice, however the artists are overpriced and UNRELIABLE. How this place has 4.9 stars is beyond me! I had an appointment for a simple Roman numerals tattoo with Eric, and as soon as I walked in on time for my appointment, I was told that Eric was busy and that Travis would be doing my tattoo. Really? I couldnt have even gotten a phone call?? They just waited until I walked into the store - UNPROFESSIONAL. At the time I figured Id just go along with it because my tattoo was small and hard to mess up (so I thought). Everyone was super nice, but my tattoo is awful! Its super crooked, uneven, and its not even filled in all the way! Do NOT go to steel tattoo unless you wanna pay top dollar for mediocre work and unreliable tattoo artists.

Called for a walk-in with Eric, they were totally awesome & squeezed me in that day for 8 digits, I ended up with 3 & 1 unfinished, made an appt for almost 2 weeks (ridiculous I had to wait that long anyway) later to have the rest of my fingers & hand.....well when I showed up for my appointment not only was Eric not at work on time but I wasnt even on the schedule!! Well, Brent was there and was able to finish my hand the next day so I gave the shop another chance. HUGE mistake, the next day Eric was late again & didnt have any time to finish 1 pinky finger & Brent butchered the back of my hand, 2 weeks later Im still waiting for scabs to heal in the holes and scars all over my hand. Eric is actually a decent artist, Brent is mediocre AT BEST & they both are overpriced.

If youre considering a tattoo, or piercing Steel Tattoo is hands down your best option! The entire staff is incredible and they create such a great atmosphere for any body in the shop! Ive had about 20 piercings and they were all done at Steel! Jillian is the best! I have also gotten all of my tattoos here! Each artist is great. I got 2 tattoos done by Cassi and my most recent one is done by Travis. Travis tattooed me, my mom, and 2 sisters. He was sooo patient with us, and made getting tattoos a great experience! He told us every thing he was about to do and always had us laughing! I love all three of my tattoos and I wont go anywhere else! Thank you guys for everything!

Steel tattoo was an overall amazing experience to me and has trustworthy artists like Travis White who take care of their customers! Prices are fair and acceptional along with amazing hospitality from the entire shop. Although pain was inevitable in this experience, the art became a masterpiece and was well treated by the artist with minimum mistakes along with maximum talents! Ill choose a trustworthy shop with trustworthy artists like steel tattoo every day of the week if I could! If youre looking for art at a great price with great people then I would highly suggest you choose steel tattoo!

Ive gotten all four of my tattoos here and I cant even begin to explain how great this place is. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The shop is always very clean and professional. I saw Travis White for my last two tattoos. My last one being a cover up on some nasty scars on my wrist. I was really wary about how covering them up would go but Travis drew up an incredible design and the tattoo itself came out so clean and was so much more than I could have imagined. I will be going back to him for all of my future tattoos!

I wanted a simple and small, yet detailed tattoo on my forearm. I have 5 children and wanted to get something to symbolize them all. Travis White drew up exactly what I wanted. I loved the detail on each elephant. Steel has an awesome environment with a fun staff, a lot to look at in there to take your mind off any pain. Travis was professional and quick, letting me take breaks when needed. I absolutely love my tattoo and would def go back and recommend Steel to my friends and family. Awesome place!

Ive worked next door to Steel for 2 years and they have the friendliest staff you could imagine. I went up to Travis White a few months ago and asked for help on a cover up of a tattoo I regretted getting and it was the most amazing design. I hope to get more tattoos done by him soon. Also Jillian is the best person to get pierced by. She is such a sweet heart and makes sure youre comfortable and is really great on after care. I truly love all of the staff and couldnt imagine going anywhere else!
