I highly recommend Liquid Swordz for all your tattoo and piercing needs. I went there with a friend to get my most recent tattoo and I can honestly say that I will not be going anywhere else if/when I decide to get another one. We decided to make an appointment (I highly suggest making an appointment) because they are usually really busy. All of the guys were very friendly from the start and answered all of our questions and were very professional. We got our tattoos done by Carl and he was amazing. He took his time and made sure we were happy with what we were getting before we were committed to the work. He also helped us design the tattoos so they would be less susceptible to the damage of age and fading. The facility was very clean and they made sure we felt comfortable. We are thrilled with the tattoos that we got and with the service! I have been to 3 places in the area and Liquid Swordz was by far the best! I will definitely be going back!!

My aim was to get a nose piercing. I checked out this place even before traveling from Flint to Ypsi...I even emailed Dave explaining my sob story about being afraid of a nose piercing. I cant begin to tell you how welcoming his energy was both through email and in person. He took me through the process step-by-step. Even when I mentioned changing my mind, he was way too convincing. Hes a pro - simple as that. And hes knowledgable and funny. He educated me about other piercings I attempted in the past. And for an OCD sista like myself, his spot was perfectly clean. Heck, he made me want to be cleaner in my place. A few days later when I had questions about a small concern, he responded promptly. Again, I would suggest piercing with Dave - whether it is your first time or your millionth time. It is worth the driving distance. And you will come out of his space smarter about piercings...

I have gotten my rook and navel done at two other parlors. This is the third Ive been to. I went to have my nostril pierced. Hands down, the cleanest and most professional one Ive been to! Perfect atmosphere, customer service and just everything! Dave was amazing and even gave me advice on my rook after finishing my nostril. I will definitely be going back there soon! I recently got my first tattoo here with Alex. It was a super simple cross outline and he respected that and didnt do anything crazy with it. It looks amazing! He was very friendly and cracked jokes the whole time. It was the perfect first tattoo experience! I cant wait to go back!

Dave (their piercing genius) is great! I have now gotten 3 piercings done by him (nose, cartilage, navel) and all three turned out amazing with no infections or negative outcomes! Alex (one out of three tattoo artists there)also has done my forearm piece that I am in LOVE with and will be going back in next month to get it colored in. AMAZING service, friendly workers and an awesome environment. Very clean also. Their prices are reasonable for the quality work they give out. I would suggest them to anyone 100% no doubt about it

I wish I could give Liquid Swordz 10 stars! When I decided to begin having a lot of tattoo work done, I ended up choosing Liquid Swordz. Right from the beginning they rocked. Everything from helping me set up my appointment to consultation. I already knew what I wanted and Carl was able to see the vision of the tattoo work I wanted. He helped me fine tune what I wanted and he did it! and some!

I got my very first tattoo here and the artist and piercing people are not only certified, but and some of the greatest people I have ever met. They took my idea and made it better and made the environment around me so comfortable while I was getting the tattoo. All of my friends go here and we are all satisfied with all the tattoos and piercings we have!

Everyone here is so friendly. Jeff, the owner, is really nice and caring. He did my tattoo. Dave did two of my piercings in the past and is wonderful. I just got my rook changed by Matt tonight and he was amazing as well. I would only go here for any tattoos and piercings. I cant go anywhere else after this place.

Ive been coming here for years and I have several tattoos from Carl. Really clean shop, decent price and everyone in the shop is super friendly and helpful. They offer full custom tattoos, and pretty much any piercing you could want. Definitely a worth while studio to check out.
