My Store

In "2012" I noticed items for sale, by private owners, other than the stock of the stores shelved inventory. The small General store of Hadley, MI., a convience retailer I had shopped at for 18 years owner harbors a Dirty little Secret. Suffering & vulnerable, I was going through a challenging time in life, in need of cash as my source of income took a turn for the worst. I discussed the possibility of placing my Fox fur coat on consignment with the owner of Hadley General Store, Sam Shangho. Receptive to the idea, he asked for my address & phone number. Sam then gave me his business card with two different contact #s. OVER friendly, placing his hand around my waist, expressing, "reach me personally...", he whispered. I pulled away saying, "thats not very gentlemanly, please Stop", shrugged off the overbearing flirtatious demeanor that Sam displayed, to pursue the placement of consignment sale. I returned home to make a sales tag, photograph, and await Sams phone call to view the item of interest. Anxious I returned to the store, Sam was with a customer, I walked down a wall isle. Within a moment, the customer departed, Sam was standing in front of me. With no warning Sam grabbed my buttox, pulled my entire body against him tightly, with a swift harsh motion, thrusting his pelvic into mine. Simultaneously he grabbed my breast, saying "Nice". SHOCKED, I shoved Sam away, and quickly left the establishment. I received calls from Sam after the incident, within minutes asking how much cash I needed. He went on to say "I will bring a fine bottle of liquor over, have a good time, you can make me happy, youre home alone right ?" I hung up on him. 2nd call, Sam claims, "I Will bring you the money you need, let me come over, you take care of me, & Ill take care of you". I told Sam, "I will not sell myself sexually, as youre suggesting". "Oh come on baby well have fun, and you can keep your coat, I have $500.00 for you" Sam insisted. Again I ended the call, silencing Sams sexually assaulting actions. Within moments I became violently Ill feeling, vomiting, my mind swilling, feelings of shame. Hours passed, days passed, days turned into months, until I shared with my father why I refused to patronize the Hadley General Store. I felt I did not want to relive that moment, and re-burried the horrid, chilling assault each time its memory surfaced~As I felt enough time had lapsed, FOUR Years, and in need of the local convenience of product due to time constraints I began to frequent the store, avoiding Sams presence. An unethical, poorly put off refund of defective product brought about unwarranted hostility towards me by one of the employees, as I interrupted a lengthy exchange of vulgarity between the morning store employee & the vendors delivery, "Oh I didnt know anyone was here", she said red faced. Her attitude became increasingly rude to me over the next few days I attempted a refund. Out of the blue, she banned me from the store. Wow, I hope she feels powerful now...as she has cost the store minimally revenue, not to mention the defamatory discrimination shes exercising over a God Aful display she subjected me to. Again at the hands of Hadley General store, Hadley, MI., till this date, it replays vividly over & over again. Im uncertain if I have passed the statute of limitation to report these two seperate incidents. In my opinion, experience of assault, & employee juvenile play ground behaviour... Minimally I feel warning others of Sam Shangos/and henchwoman: Behind the scope of view, out of ear shot, there are people much different then the front many of you have been sold! In addition there is an addendum to this valid truth. In closing, Sam Shango, you owe me an apology, you owe your Wife of the time an apology, utilise A behavioural self awareness class & public awareness of your capabilities, admission of guilt, posted under your Help Wanted sign! As for the employee~Some people are just brought up under the mushrooms, believing thats a necessary way to justify their ignorance.
