Will not purchase any items that need to be delivered from Home Depot. The company they use do NOT verify delivery addresses and when they cant find your home the delivery person does NOT call you. They call their headquarters who in turn call you and give you 15 minutes to call back, however you wait for the first available operator for well beyond 15 minutes. When I did get a hold of someone they couldnt get a hold of the driver...I found out from the Home Depot Manager it was because he was already back at the warehouse in Detroit. It takes more time to get to Detroit from where I live then I was on the phone. So, that tells me the driver did not wait the 30 minutes that I was told that he waited. Now I have to take a day off of work and hope that they get it right. Wont be recommending Home Depot to friends, family or co-workers.

The store is an average big box store. Sometimes I can find what I need, and it is usually a bit more expensive than other places. I rarely have any employees greet or offer to help when Im looking for something, but the outside contractors at the front door are quick to accost you with whatever garbage theyre peddling that day. I usually have to hunt down someone when I really need help and may find an employee that says, "I dont work in this department, Im not sure." I then leave for some other store. Im surprised at the number of people that write reviews saying that theyve had good service from this store. Im glad for them. I see this as every other big box store. I do not feel the small tool stores in Fenton are better. Theyre just as impersonal.

Yes I was looking for new flooring for a house I just in Fenton. Judy the customer service person was trained very good and as person working for Home Depot she love her job. I am selling my house in Dearborn and had Family room done by a local company and after learning what Judy explain to me about carpet and wood flooring. I paid too much money and the guy told me gave cheapest price. Learn alot with Judy and doing the whole house with carpet and wood flooring. Hopefully your in home sale person give me a good price because can carpet out and floor wash. There no furniture and base molding did put kill paint on stain area. Mike haycock is the worst store manager Ive ever met. After spending over $6,000 here in pressure washers for my company, he refused to return a defected one that we had only Owned for two weeks. He was not only incredibly rude to me but also to his employee. Oh yea, did I say when his associate called him for help he told her to just figure it out and do it herself? She then told me Id have to go find him so he could help.I walked back to the lumber area where she told me he was and told him I needed his assistance at the front desk. He instantly became a jerk. After he left his associate said " he always treats everyone likes this " Ill literally never spend another penny here

Truly the worst customer service I have ever received. We needed help and the man at the desk was so busy playing on the internet that he couldnt help us, and instead blowing us off and referring us to someone who was on lunch and would be back any minute. Forty five minutes later the man finally came back to inform us we couldnt order the part we needed and we had to call the manufacturer ourselves. So we stood there for 45 minutes to get nowhere, all because the other guy couldnt be bothered to get an answer for us or try and help us himself. Instead he chose to make a personal phone call and check google weather.

Excellent service! We were looking for a table saw and the one we wanted was out of stock. One of the associates were helping us and he took $40 off the table saw the was slightly more expensive then the one we were looking for! Super helpful and nice staff. Also, the tool rental is extremely helpful! We have rented trucks, sod cutters, floor nailers, etc and all of them have been top notch. Even when one of the nailers was having issues we came back, they gave us a two hour extension for missed time and then gave us a better one.

In & out was my goal, as I needed more dirt for my garden and daylight was slipping away. With the help of a wonderful employee named Erika, I was done in record time! She found a cardboard liner for the cart so the moisture from the afternoons rain wouldnt transfer to my car, then she helped my load my cart, whisked me through checkout quickly and even accompanied me to my car and loaded my ten bags of garden soil into my trunk for me. Very happy with this outstanding customer service - thanks!

Not sure what the other two reviews are about......my experience was great with carpet install as well as attic insulation. Fast efficient and courteous. If I have ever had any problem they are quick to resolve. BTW I asked about illegal workers which is completely false, all installers and employees are fully background checked and drug screened....try getting that from Big Joe and his truck installer. you never know what you will get....this is why I went with HD and am very satisfied

this was a few yrs. ago, but reading the review from the carpeting buyer brought back bad memories. The first one they brought out was the WRONG size. Had to reschedule, meanwhile I took cold showers. Then they showed up with the right one, a man who barely spoke English, along with his young son installed it. Of course it was NOT up to code. Had to have an electrician come out and bring it up to code. Do NOT ever use their installers.

On too many different occasions when dealing with this locations my husband and myself have been treated horribly by mostly the managers, their always seems to be a "problem" because they are either poorly trained or over abuse their "power" a few times weve been forced to goto another store or order online. Both in which were incovienent and completely avoidable if given a better staff. Something needs to change there

Borrowed my sons new truck to pick up from store. Sub-contractor was tearing down cart stations across lot where I parked. Come out of store to see another couple tearing down right beside truck, she dropped a rail on side of truck. Put dent and took paint off. Got manager and was told not to worry, it would be taken care of. Get no answers and she also has not called back. This was one month ago.

I am extremely disappointed with the quality of products Home Depot is selling. Im starting to believe they are selling "seconds". We purchased 7 items to renovate our guest bathroom. 6 of those 7 products was damaged, including the toilet (which is pretty tough to return after the plumber installed it.) Extremely frustrating. I am not purchasing any more products from Home Depot.
