18 August 2015 Original review. 12 September 2015 Update: It has been a month-long fridge buying and returning nightmare. All you need to know is to STAY AWAY. If you care for some details, heres the shortest possible version. Picture this but times a hundred: They (knowingly?) sold us a broken fridge, messed up our delivery day and brought the wrong fridge the first time. Finally got it here three days after the promised date. Immediately discovered it wouldnt cool. Took them over two weeks to have a repairman come tell us the obvious answer that it was indeed broken and not worth fixing. Their delivery service, called XPO, is just as incompetent. They have twice showed up to pickup the fridge with only two guys when we have very clearly told them they will need three or even four to move it down our stairs. (They needed three to move it up here.) Apparently no one can or will take ownership of the problem to get this fridge out of our house. Sears says they are unable to influence how XPO does its deliveries and pickups. Each time the XPO guys tell us we need to call Sears and schedule a new pickup time with three or four guys. Weve been stuck in this dysfunctional, circular reasoning cycle for three freaking weeks!! (It took Lowes exactly one day to get us a new fridge that works great.) We finally figured out that Sears sub-contracts XPO for deliveries, XPO then sub-contracts the labor. Everyone is a sub-contractor that apparently does their own thing. This ultimately leads to everyone pointing the finger at everyone else and nothing getting accomplished because no one is accountable to anyone. The only saving grace is the Sears manager Kim. She is the only one that can do anything right, or even seems to care. She deserves a raise and a promotion for having to deal with so many imbeciles. Actually, she should quit and go work for a company that actually cares about its customers and employees. I feel for you Kim! This should be documented as a textbook failure of customer service. Absolutely the worst I have seen. Again, stay away from this store at all costs. Never again!

***Buyers BEWARE!!**** First Ill say that the experience at this location has been nothing but a hassle. Purchased a mattress, which I didnt like and went to return it and was told there was a "14 day return policy" which is a big fat LIE since the policy is clearly stated on your website as 60 days! That pissed me off from the start especially because they just hoped I didnt know the return policy and Id leave. FINALLY got two different managers to take care of the return (which was also a big headache) and purchased another mattress from this Novi location.... I did not like that one either and went to return this one well within the return date policy - - but here is the major issue.... cash was paid for the second mattress (over $400 cash!) and the manger said "we cant give you that much cash back - only $100 is allowed (really?? you can take my cash but not give it back? manger went on to say) well have to mail you a check." Mail me a check???!! WHEN A CUSTOMER PAYS CASH??!! Total crap - - so finally got the refund put on my bank debit card for the $400 + and change, figured all good right? NOPE!! After calling the store to find out WHERE my money is I hear "Oh... it can take 14 to 21 days to post to your account" - - what the HECK kind of crap and scamming is that??? TOTALLY unacceptable and I tell you this - we will never purchase another item from your stores of any kind ever after this. NO where on this receipt does it say my money will not be in my account for up to three weeks after paying CASH money IN your outlet location in Novi!!!! BAD BUSINESS practice all around.

This was the worst experience ever! Bought a fridge and it was delivered on Oct. 23. By Oct 30 we had problems (the fridge would not stay cold) good thing we bought the warrenty right, no! My food went bad cause yes they sent a tech out 5 days later, then they had to order parts (another week of waiting). Parts came in tech came back out put the parts on said "its good" but my fridge is holding a steady temp of 67°F! Called again (same day) to send someone back out and now we still have to wait 3 days! Came back out today (11/17) said they need more parts and they will be back on the 28! How am I supposed to feed my family Thanksgiving dinner? Im barely getting the regular meals done! I cant buy extras, milk or dairy produts cause MY FRIDGE THAT THEY SAID ONLY HAD SCRATCHES ON IT, DOSENT WORK! I have yet to recieve my refund check for my food and still we must wait. Family of 6 with no fridge for a month please let me know how do I make that work?

I purchased a dryer on Saturday, February 21. a salesman named Rashaad helped with the purchase. he guaranteed that if purchased by 3pm that I would have the dryer delivered the next day Sunday the 22nd. nowhere else would do next day delivery and with a newborn and me working in a hospital we need to do laundry everyday so it was important to have the dryer the next day. everywhere else said Monday. I did not receive a confirmation call on Saturday so I called once the store opened at 10 am Sunday the 22nd and lorraine said I was not on the delivery manifest because Rashaad didnt add me. the selling point was having next day delivery! she said I should have called an hour ago and she would have made sure it went out. 1 the salesman guaranteed it would be here the next day and 2 why would I call a store at 9am whose hours are listed as 10am?? she claimed there was nothing she could do except halve the delivery fee. broken promises.

I had no problems finding I was looking for in the store, Im having problems afterwards. I purchased a whirlpool refrigerator & electric stove & patiently waited 10 days for delivery. when the day finally comes the driver calls, says hell be here 2hrs earlier , which is great. But the Cord for the stove is the wrong one , even after I showed the sales rep a picture of the socket on the day of purchase [10 days ago]. So now I have new appliances but only can use half of them because the store manager is troubleshooting the problem and he hasnt called back yet. Getting loud or irate handles nuthin, but being direct & humble doesnt seem to either . #ineedmystove UPDATE 04/14/2017 Now I gotta go bck out here cause they sold me a defective refrigerator after having to wait on them.to send someone out to swap out my org problem posted above , now I gotta make another trip to find another one similar to this one

I ordered five appliances and one stove came with missing burner caps. I was promised to receive them in the mail but they never came. The salesman rashad got my address wrong! Also when I recieved my appliances the stove didnt come with a cord and the electric burner units werent the same part for the stove. I was never told I needed a cord & removing my refrigerator was a hassle Bc I needed to remove the two front doors which I wasnt aware of!!! What a nightmare of back and forth. Also every time I call nobody and even the managers seem to help. Poor customer service!!! I returned 4 of my items back!! What kind of customer service are they running over there I wouldnt recommend seats outlet to anyone.
