I have been dealing with Home Depot for many years, I had pretty much swore not to use them again, many times.......But, The Dawsonville store has One of the Best Employees I have ever found. It makes my visit painless. There is a person named David Shafer"I asked for his card", I have ran into him so many times, in different areas of the store, I now seek him out. He is one of the most knowledgeable people I have ever met. And I love his outlook on life. Ordered gladiator work bench . Came in serverly damaged , called said ready for pickup , refused be caused of damage . 10 days later another call , "its here" . Went to pick it up again and they tried to give us the same damaged bench again. Back to customer service to cancel and get our money back . "We cant do that , our computer wont let us do that" more FUNNY business "we have to show that you accepted it and returned it . I asked to see the manager " hes to busy" . Wont be buying from Gainesville store any more. Lowes is just down the street .

I hope the managers of the Gainesville, GA Home Depot read these reviews, because I need to throw kudos at one of your employees. Phillip S. went WAY above and beyond to personally help me. I do not believe I have ever experienced this level of customer service. Hence... this is the first time I have ever felt compelled to write one these reviews. I will, subsequently, be spending thousands of dollars at Home Depot on my basement project, and other projects in the future. WELL DONE!

You should know that Home Depot does not stand behind their extended warranties on appliances. My LG washing machine quit spinning water out and HD warranty services was notified on 4/4/16. It is now 4/24/16 and my washer has not yet been repaired. A service technician was scheduled to come today, but did not show up--for the second time. I did not receive a phone call explaining either time.

Our HD in Gainesville, GA. Is the best. Sence HD came to our town I have been a fan, Im just a home owner, but we have spent a lot of time @ our store. We have gotten to know a lot of good people. BUT HERE IS THE RUB! Im a veteran, says so on my drivers license. BUT thats not good enough for HD! They push for NOT ID for voting, but want one for 10% off a board. This needs to change.

Norma, in cabinets, was a consummate professional when we ordered our kitchen cabinets. She is a Kitchenaid expert, and those were the cabinets we were buying. She is extremely knowledgeable about her product as well as kitchen tiles, countertops and so on. She guided us through our kitchen remodel, reminding us of details resulting in a beautiful and functional kitchen. Thanks Norma!!

I was in the Home dEpot on Hwy 53 on Thursday looking for several items. I do NOT go in this store to be entertained..........Im here to THINK about what I need to finish a project . STOP with the loud and disgusting music!!!!!!! I couldnt stand it and I left with a 99 cent bag of rubber bands and went to Lowes.You don t need to play music in a home improvement store.

What a scam... Today HD #152 in Gainesville.Ga. claimed the power was out and they couldnt give credit or cash refunds only store credit. Interesting how they could take credit cards, but not issue credits. Oh...and on one of their busiest days of the week. Very bad way to keep the money in the store. A (1) is too deserving.... Store management needs a review.

The thing I like is they have most everything. The thing I hate is most floor employees walk with their eyes to the ground so you cant catch their eyes when you need help. They should have a help desk for floor help and kisocks to find where things are located. Very typical Home Depot but well located

This store is the perfect enabler for a stubborn DIY habit! Ive bought everything from 2x4s to sweet potato slips. I love this store. I dont shop around much anymore so I cant vouch for prices, but the employees are friendly! This is my go-to store for tools and building materials.
