Got in contact two days ago to set up a scrapping a car, had him tell me a price, and tell us that after work we could get it towed there, then after work he says "The store is closed, you can get it towed to this random address in the middle of detroit and I will give you the cash on the side" and That was way too sketchy for me to even consider an option. The next day I called and spoke with someone else who was very rude, and she flat out said that I was lying for saying that the person yesterday told me a higher price, and kept saying "we need to make money" over and over as her argument. Whatever, I took the lowball price and changed it to bring picked up, she confirmed the address and said that it would be picked up, then not a single response for the entire day. I called 6 different times throughout the day, each time getting ignored, and I was calling in increments of about an hour. This is a joke, I have been lead around for two days with still zero progress, still have my unscrapped vehicle, have been blown off for an entire day, and have had a pickup appointment literally ignored. And today is the day that I am supposed to buy my new car.... thanks parts galore.

This place is a blast! It is exactly as it says it is.......You search for and pull your own parts. $1 gets you in for all day. Everything is arranged into a catagory by make, except pick-ups, 4x4s, foreign and old stuff. I have found everybody to be pretty nice. Some employees are all business. But they have always answered any questions. I think it is all attitude...........You go in and be polite and they are too and they treat you well. I have not always got what I went looking for. However, I always manage to leave with something in my hands. I can always go back later, which I have done and found what I need on that trip. I have been to all three and will be going back. Get your tools together, dress for work and get yourself a deal!

Great source for cheap parts, if you dont mind pullem yourself. Then again anyone who wont pullm prolly wont installm either. They keep most domestic cars, foreign parts will be hit-or-miss... especially since they dont keep good inventory. Warranty is available on some parts. Bring your own tools, be nice and use a metric wrench-set (8, 10, 13, 17, 19mm) so you dont damage adjacent parts that others may need. Mark zip-lock bags with a sharpie for nuts, bolts and other loose ends! edit, -1star for poor inventory, -1star for telling me they close at 5pm but doors were closed when I got there at 430 to buy a used battery.

This was my first time and I thought the concept was kinda cool. Im a woman who needed a few parts for my foreign vehicle so I decided to see what would happen. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The yard was organized by manufacturer except for the foreign cars. The rows were evenly spaced and clean all around. They even had the years of the cars spray painted on them which is extremely helpful. I thought the yard was great and I plan to visit a diffent location to find some more parts. It makes me never want to go to a regular junk yard again.

They had a couple parts that i needed and the prices were actually pretty good. The only reason i give this a 3 star is for my experience getting into the yard. The lady at the front was helping out customers she must have known, service with a smile sort, looked welcoming. I went up to pay for my entrance and all i got was a cold "SIGN IT!" when she gave me the receipt. Would be nice to get that service with a smile to all potential customers.... ...then again this is a junkyard.

Parts Galore is a GREAT U-Pull-It junkyard. It is well organized, clean, and their prices are very reasonable. Furthermore, they turnover their inventory every 4-6 weeks, so there are ALWAYS new cars there! The yard is organized by manufacturer, which makes it easy to find what you are looking for. They rent wheelbarrows and engine hoists as well, to make it easy to pull and cart your parts to the front. Overall, the best junkyard in the Metro Area!

They close at 5 p.m. I came up to the register at 5:05 p.m. they refuse to sell me my parts even though it took me 3 hours to get them off the car for 5 minutes do not come to this place they are horrible the security guard was very rude on top of it shaking his head acting like a2 year old. " I am not swearing at you " he says but he can act like a2 year old anyway dont go here they suck

Quite disappointing. There is no way to tell if a part is available before paying the entry fee and going over every car; I was prepared for that but unfortunately the vast majority of the cars (I checked many out of curiosity) have little left to get and thus finding a specific part is like playing lottery. Also, the staff does not seem to be very knowledgeable and therefore helpful.

phone service blows they put you on a 3 million year hold when you call with annoying as hell music and recordings until it randomly shuts the phone in your face before you get the chance to talk to some one "exiting system good bye" makes blood come out my noise i hope who ever set it up gets hit by a truck and then ran over by the ambulance

I love this place but if u wanna call to see if they have a part.....Ur S*#t out of luck because NONE of their outlets bother to answer the phone. The REAL address of the Livernois & warren outlet is 5970 Warren Ave. NOT whatever address their giving u on Tireman.

I love this place if you dont mind pulling your own parts to save a lot of money this is the place for you. And even though they dont work for Parts Galore there are Parts pullers that are willing to help you for a very affordable price I love this place

The only thing I dont like about this place is you have to take the part off yourself. If your a woman or someone that does not know what your doing you could break the part trying to get it off then you still will need a working part.

Come here a lot. Organized by maker. Parts are affordable and prices are listed throughout the yard. Will return.

I hate when you pay the fee just to go in and never get the part you want.
