Answer in response to Nicole Sorensen; Im very sorry that you are having those problems with the car and I would like to clarify that we are NOT SCAMMERS nor are we selling "GARBAGE" vehicles here. 50 DAYS AGO... On April 5, 2016, you purchased 2005 Ford Escape with 101,000 miles on it and as you stated in your review "YOU GOT THE CAR FOR A DECENT PRICE AND ALL LOOK FINE AND WELL". Five Brothers Auto Sales -ALWAYS- recommends third party mechanic to make sure that the customer has a outside opinion of the vehicle that he or she is purchasing. Also, we do give a personal warranty for one week to the customer just in case there is any problems with the vehicle. YOU NEVER CONTACTED US ABOUT ANY ISSUE WITH THE CAR... How are we supposed to know that there are any issues with the vehicle? If you did contact us we would be more than happy to assist you however we can. We have a good reputation with our customers and we would like to keep it this way. PLEASE CALL ME A LIAR if what Im stating is not true. If you reconsider to remove this bad review and contact us we can find some type of common ground for both of us. Tom

Just like a previous reviewer stated, car was listed on Craigslist under the "for sale by owner" section...come to find out that it was through this dealer. Whatever, thats fine. Got the car for a decent price and all looked fine and well. A couple days later, check engine light came on. I can only assume they reset it beforehand just to not cause any alarm. Turns out the catalytic converter needed to be replaced, which is not a cheap repair by any means. This was within the first two weeks of having the car! Now Im running into trouble with the strut housing being rusted away because these guys put a sealant over all of it to try and hide it!! Ive spent close to $2,000 in repairs within 2 months of owning this car. Sure, they may have appealing out the door prices, but be prepared to spend the money you "saved" for repairs. This place is just looking to scam you and I would never recommend anyone to this place. All they sell on this lot is garbage. Save your money and take your business elsewhere!!

Found a car on Craigslist and went to look at it and it turned out it was for sale by dealer not by owner. Either way the car looked nice and they were eager to sell it to us with an out the door price. We took the car for a test drive looked it all over really good and ended up buying it. 5 days later and less than 500 miles the transmission went out. Call them to see if they would fix the car and of course they say sure "we can fix it but you will have to pay for it". As it turns out there is NO lemon law in Michigan so we are stuck paying the price after just spending about $7000 cash to buy this useless car. We will NEVER go back to this place they are CROOKS. If you need a good used vehicle your best bet would be to pass this place up. You never know what junk they will try to sell you. good luck to you and hop this review helps you. I would put zero stars but you have to choose at least 1.

Why cant people be honest anymore. Had the car 50 miles and need new brakes and radiator. The ad said nothing wrong with it, perfect; I asked again, anything wrong with it? OH No , everything good. The brakes didnt squeak when I and my friend drove it, but the brakes were at the rotor level. I was told that you can spray something on them to quit them for squeaking. Well Sorry Sam and Tom, thru away your business cards, wont send anyone your way. You said in someone else post not to give you a bad review, that he should of called you first, but if Sam wasnt honest up front, what makes me think anything would be done when I call you, I shouldnt have to call you at all. Not everyone has a mechanic to take their cars to to be checked . I am on disabiility, had to borrow the money to get this vehicile and had to borrow 500 more to get fixed. so my van started out costing me 3500, not 3000.

Haha! Update to my previous review (so glad I can give you another 1 star): My engine blew up! Ive put just about 5,000 miles on it so far and a piston literally shot out of the side of my engine. I have to get AN ENTIRELY NEW ENGINE. I firmly stand by my previous one star review of your horrible business and I firmly stand by this one as well. Why would I want to bring my car back to you guys so you can "fix" it? Things didnt start going wrong until the second week of having it, so my "one week warranty" would have been expired anyway. I will never give your "business" another dime and I hope other people realize what kind of shop youre actually running there. If youre ready this trying to decide if you want to purchase a car from these liars and crooks, JUST DONT. Save your money! Or youll be buying a whole new engine 2 months after you purchased the car just like Im going to have to do.

Bought a 2008 Saturn Aura for what appeared to be a fair deal. Was listed as a sale by owner on Craigslist. Before buying the car had the car inspected by a mechanic and they fixed some of the problems identified by the mechanic. But even before taking possession of the car identified 3 more issue. All the wheels tire pressure monitors are faulty. This is a federal safety problem. They said I should take it to Discount tyres to fix it the air pressure. There is a bigger issue then what Discount tyre can fix. Took it to a GM dealer they will charge money just to diagnose the problem. Im having to do the run around for problems they knew. The power door locks dont work. Same response. The car has a major suspension problem within 2 days of getting it. Same response. Be very careful.

Sold me a lemon. Engine failing, after I got the oil change it started knocking, motor went out in windshield wipers and I had a horrible electrical problem. It took 3 weeks to fix 5 days after I purchased the vehicle. Update : Tom seen my review, called me and went off on me about the review! Told me Im on my own about the vehicle after I already purchased the warranty and argued with me. Then he proceeded to hang up on me. 5/27/2016

I purchase a 2007 Ford Edge from 5 Brothers, about three weeks later the car began to give me problems. I contacted the dealership and they had me to bring the vehicle back to them to have it looked at and possible fixed. I thought they was going to play me on fixing the car, but true enough they stuck to their word and had my car fixed with not cost to me. So far so good with this dealership.

CALL AND SPOKE WITH SOMEONE ABOUT THE PURCHASE OF A CAR. AS, WE WERE ON THE PHONE SPEAKING OF THE CARS HE RECOMMEND THAT I GO GET A LOAN FROM THE BANK. I ASK WHY YOU RECOMMEND THAT IF ASKING OF VEHICLES AT YOUR LOT. SMH! THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. HE THEN TOLD ME, LOOK SOMEWHERE FOR PURCHASE BUT, NOT HERE I SAID ARE YOU REALLY THEIR BROTHER. IF THEY NEED TO GET OF HIM TERRIBLE.
