I would give Menards 5 stars if it wasnt for the unpleasant customer services I get from a FEW employees. Ive spent about $24,000 with Menards between their flooring, paint, and cabinet departments. I worked with a very professional cabinet designer named Drew. He helped layout my entire kitchen in just a few minutes surprisingly. I had a plan, pictures, and price in my hands in about 20 minutes. If you go to Menards to get a kitchen planned I highly recommend working with him and nobody else since he knows what hes talking about. Ive worked with Mark in that department and he is one of the rudest people that works in that store. He is very disrespectful and unprofessional. The thing that keeps me coming back to this store is the nice people who are grateful for the money I spend and the knowledgeable employees they have.

I love Menards. Much wider selection of lumber than Lowes or Home Depot. Staff takes to the location of the item when asked. The cashiers are friendly and helpful. The power tools (except Bosch) I can take or leave, but the bits, blades, and other hardware is as good or better than similar stores. Love the fact that the outdoor storage holds 2, 4, 6 by that is up to 30 feet long. Roofing and trusses in stock as well as enough of most items to not have try twice. I needed 4 identical casters - Lowes had 3, Home Depot had 2 in stock - look ups said I needed to go to at least 2 more stores to get 4. Stopped at Menards, they had 8 in stock. This is typical of what I am finding. Only thing I miss is the hot dog cart at some of the Home Depots and Lowes.

Your plumbing department sucks!!!!!! You never have any of the important fittings went there today to buy fittings that you all have been out of I guess for 5 days now. Also your service members are a joke half of them dont know what the fittings are when you ask about them. But this is of course if you can find one of the five people you claim to have working in the department. The last five times i have been there i have given up and walked out to spend a few hundred at Lowes up the street because I wasted 10min looking for someone that gives a damn about their job. At least Lowes has a help needed button.

Ordered laminate flooring to be picked up at store. The girl pushed the loaded down cart to the desk and said, you can push the cart outside and unload it. Didnt offer to get anyone to load it for me. I am almost 68 years old with medical problems to boot. So took it to my truck and unloaded the 411 pounds of flooring with the help of my granddaughter that is 11. Shame on Menards, there were two male employees outside laughing and having a grand ole Time and never once offered to help this ole gal. At least at Home Depot they load your heavy items for you.

They always have the things I need and I usually find other things there that I end up taking home... Great people great store and great merchandise at lower prices than Lowes and Home Depot. The one thing I think needs improvement is they only have two handicap motor carts in the whole store - this place needs half a dozen to cover the customers needs - across the street from a mobile home community that has hundreds of older folks who need this kind of help when shopping. ***MENARDS MANAGEMENT*** - wake up and get more of these in this store!

The store is HUGE, the selection is exactly what any homeowner needs, the prices are always competitive and there are always sales and 11% rebates happening. The best thing about this place is the SERVICE. You know how when you go to ArtVan, theres a swarm of sales people stalking you as you try to hide from them? Well, at Menards, there is someone ready to help at every corner, because you NEED them. And they are happy to help. They are all very knowledgeable, and when they dont know something, they will find someone who does.

We went in to purchase some carpet we found the one we wanted and asked a guy for help and he said "ok" then came to the carpet area and we told him its on the one side and he said "i know" then he was struggling to menouver the carpet on the machine and we offered assistance and he said "no i have my buddy". The guy that helped him was nice but the guy that helped us was short and bitter and pretty much just did his job as if we were not there. But everyone else was pleasant and nice. Got a good deal on 40 of carpet too.

I like MENARDS and am very happy with this store. Big improvement now summer 17, from when the store opened from an employee standpoint. I wanted some of the employees to stop saying Menards doesnt sell items that they actually do in fact sell, Its just lazy. This was in the past and newer employees have not said this. Good job Menards management! Menards beats Lowes and Home Depot hands down from price to service. The sales ads and 11% discounts are bonuses for us consumers. D.I.Y!

Large selection of all kinds of stuff from paint and wallpaper to window treatments and flooring, from construction materials to trim and finish items, from tools to lawn and garden supplies. The staff is friendly and appears to be happy. Excellent customer service. No hassle returns. I accidentally left an item at the checkout, and when I returned several days later they happily provided a replacement.

Not a lot of help available, had to go back twice to get my new living room light & fan. When the same thing happened again for the one in the kitchen, I went across the street to Lowes, who doesnt tell their customers to come back another day when so & so will be working. Really the one I wanted was the last one left in your store, and Lowes had it too, with much better service!

If you price custom window blinds or shades before versus during the near-perpetual 11% Rebate Days, you will quickly discover that it costs less to purchase them when the big mail-in rebate days are NOT going on. While prices are better on some products, the employees are not nearly as knowledgeable as other options. So the store is not great, but not horrible either.

Pretty "eh" service. Online order pickup is a chore, and typically takes 10-15 minutes, much longer than simply grabbing items off the shelf. Pickup Counter in the back of the store is often unattended, and service seems pretty lackadaisical. Prices are good, but service is better at other home improvement stores. Not pet friendly :-(

Low prices and good variety. Lots of items not available at other home construction type stores, like wedges for tree cutting. The staff are friendly, and they have good customer service. It is still a huge box store, and doesnt have the cozy familiarity of a smaller local hardware store.

Great place to go, a mix of lowes Lowes and big lots, really have a lot of great deals. Constantly doing all different kind of sales, they sell anything from fencing to tvs to grocery items. Worth checking oh. Store seems clean and staff are friendly and helpful.

Good people working there. Never a problem in returning anything. Sometimes a little short staffed. Very glad you came to ann arbor because I was getting feed up with Lowes and there BS junk. Please make 11% incentive a little more often.
