I brought in an odd lot of worn out rechargeables, for Ryobi, Milwakee and Panasonic tools Ive got. They reconditioned the two Ryobis, replaced the cells inside 1 Panasonic and 2 Milwakee batt packs, and all for what I would have paid for a single new cell. Those tool companies have got us over the barrel because there is no competition ie you can not go to Lowes and take your pick of Energizer, Everyreay and generic when buying a replacement batt pack which fits *your* tool-- you have to pay their price, or buy a whole new tool set with tools you already own. Now, I went in with cells Id already bought for the Milwakee Id tried to replace myself (dont do that- you need a spot-welder which I didnt have or youll damage the cells.) I suspect the guy will never do this again for other customers because it did not meet HIS standards. After doing all that work, the batt packs did not charge up as high as he wanted, but I am a very satisfied customer. I am a small business owner myself, and I know how annoying it is when a customer asks for special attention like this, and then you end up sinking too much time into it. Thats why Im writing this review. Plus I like the idea that the battery monopoly is broken!

I read the bad reviews here and was concerned about going there but since my car needed a new battery and their price seemed reasonable (with free installation) I took a chance. Anyhow, I ordered the battery online to get a 10% discount, then someone from the store called me to tell me that I needed a different battery for the Honda Fit and it would be an extra $10 or so. The next day I went to the store and they told me that the person on the phone was also wrong and the battery I needed was actually another $8. I wasnt too upset since the guy was very nice, did the installation, and the battery he put in was clearly the right one so he wasnt trying to rip me off or anything. The final price was still $20 cheaper than AutoZone. So in conclusion, the website is probably full of inaccuracies but the people at the store (I interacted with 3 of them and watched them interact with other customers) were very very nice and helpful.

I needed a new car battery and tried several auto battery/muffler/service chain stores but they were all so disorganized and messy I walked out. I needed a special battery for my internet control unit so was taking a trip to Batteries Plus anyway (I had preordered the battery online and got a discount) and thought perhaps they stock car batteries too but wondered if they did the installation as the BP store didnt have a service bay. I drove up to the front door, walked in and got my internet battery. The clerk then came outside to my car and checked my almost dead car battery. I bought the car battery at a very good price and they installed it at no additional charge. Great service and price!

I needed to replace the battery in my 44-year old motorcycle. I was able to order online and pick up in the Woburn, MA store and save 10%. The store personnel were very accommodating and as soon as my order was relayed to them they activated (flooded) the battery and put it on charge as I had requested. When I arrived at the end of the day I was able to swap out my old battery, and turn it in saving the $8 core charge, and install the new freshly charged one. The whole transaction went very smoothly and fast and the new battery is the best I have ever bought and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend the staff at Batteries plus Bulbs in Woburn MA.

Fantastic. I bought both a digital camera battery and recently a Sealed Pb-Acid Deep Cycle battery for a hobby project. The owner knows battery ratings, and even the younger staffer know what cell potentials are and why you cannot get a 5V battery when you are using a 1.2V cell potential! Glad to see the hired help are well trained on the basics, kept up to date with the knowledgeable needed to recommend and sell batteries for specific applications.

Steve is extremely knowledgable, he spoke with me for about an hour about my battery needs even though I wasnt going to buy anything. He helped me with setting up an off grid solar project. He told me what I needed and told me where to get it from, even though it was at another store. The other battery shop wouldnt give me the time of day. Batteries Plus in Woburn is the place I will go for my battery, inverter, solar or electrical questions.

I was very happy with the price of the motorcycle battery i purchased and it was ready to be picked up 2 hours after i placed the order online for store pickup. The only negative thing I can say is I was dissapointed they didnt have the direct connection cord for the battery tender so I can put the battery in the bike and be able to just plug it in. The location of the battery in my bike is impossible to get at with the alligator clips.

Solved my search for LR 41 batteries at the last minute - ordered around 10 PM online and picked it up when the store opened after I received an email saying it was ready to pick up. The fellow in the store went into the back room, came out with my batteries and I was out of there in 45 seconds. Flawless execution!!

Id looked every where for batteries for my wifes activity tracker. I finally looked online, saw Batteries Plus Bulbs and ordered them. Picked them up 30 minutes later. Seamless process and couldnt ask for better service. You get an A+.

These guys are great. They had my Fios backup battery ready and waiting, and even helped me with the battery connections. (The FIOS video doesnt mention you may need to put a little muscle into removing the clips.)
