Yesterday I traveled to the Westfield, Mass Home Depot from Hartford, CT to purchase Carpet Tiles from their flooring department. I had been looking at these carpet tiles on the Home Depot website for about six weeks and attempting to get more information on them from the local store in Wallingford, CT with absolutely no luck. I finally found a link on HDs website that showed they were now available in some stores. Thats when I decided to call Westfield which is about 50 minutes from my home. Chris, in the flooring department took my call and he was surprised the website showed these tiles were available at his store as he was unfamiliar with the product. Nevertheless, he didnt leave it at that. He got on the website while I was on the phone, looked at the link I was looking at which stated they had 23 cartons and he said he would physically check for them and call me back within the hour. Fifteen minutes later he called and said he found them in both the colors I liked and said they had all the cartons in stock. A few hours later when I arrived at the store, he was available in the and helped me with my purchase. He showed me the product and the rest is history. I work in sales and I can tell you I appreciated the fact he took the extra step to find a product that was brand new to their store. I am so happy with this purchase. Thank you for great service.

If I could give no stars I would. Do not accept delivery from them on anything. One: Delivered Brinkman Grill assembled as a gift, used three times, third time the grill caught on fire due to them putting it together incorrectly. Two: Took delivery on a John Deere tractor, they could not deliver so had to outsource it, and would not set it up, and wouldn t perform the service they were paid to perform. Three: Delivered a Samsung Washer and Dryer, dropped the washer, broke it, still installed it, and stripped the electric cord on the back of the dryer, I asked what they were doing, and they said they were going to crossthread it to get it to work. I told them to get me a new one, they are still working on it, 2 weeks later. The washer failed on the first wash and now Samsung is going to have an independent intermediary come out with new products and install them both because they don t want to tarnish their reputation. The Samsungs are both rated as recommended by Consumer Reports. The issue is with Home Depot and their delivery staff not Samsung. The salesman in appliances was top notch, he knew what he was talking about, and he was very helpful, he should work elsewhere. The delivery staff does this place a huge disservice.

My family and I had a terrible experience at the home depot in westfield. My husband and I are owners of a construction company and we spent one weekend cleaning out our trailer. We found some left over material from a job and decided to return it due to the fact we didnt need it. I called ahead of time to make sure the return was ok. I got the approval so my husband three children and i headed out there. Everything was going great at first then when we were almost done some women came over and said she would not allow the return. I explained I called ahead of time and got the OK she then extremely rudely said "I dont care..Im the store manager michelle and I am not taking this back" I was shocked..I just drove all the way to the store. I got the OK ahead of time. I did everything I was suppose to do. Because she has power she turned me down. I have worked in retail my whole life and never have I been treated so bad. A person like her should never be a store manager. We spend thousands of dollars a week at her store.. she just lost a huge customer to lowes.

They need a little help in the Customer service department and i mean relate to the customer. My husband was stuck on the the road with a flat trailer tire and i called ahead to see if they could help. The girl just yelled(maybe it was loud in the back round for her) but she told me she couldnt help me then hung up. I was not a happy person!!! I called back and spoke to the manager (maybe they thought i was crazy) but he was a lot nicer and tried to help more so when my husband walked in. Stuck in a state and the website says they stock the stuff that we needed but they dont. Again the manager was very helpfully with my husband and i wanted that to be known. I understand the website is not there issue and thanks again to the lawn and garden manager who helped us that night.

I frequent here way to often, as I am sure most home owners do. Because it is a small store compared to West Springfield the section is not great. Staff is usual pretty helpful. I would rather go to West Springfield though.
