Having been raised in Europe, I am used to walking into a store and having someone greet me and direct me to what I need. Trying to get service in one of the Super-Stores is next to impossible, especially if you are petite and unassuming (as I am). Walking into this store is like a breath of fresh air! At this store I get personalized service--no more wasting time going up and down interminable aisles or waiting for assistance! I am in-and-out, with more time for the project at hand. Cannot thank them enough for opening in my new neighborhood!

Despite being a fairly small store compared with Home Depot, this place has just about everything youd need. Plus the service is unreal. They have plenty of staff who are amazingly willing to not just point you to the right aisle, but help you find the exact thing youre looking for. I try to make a point of going here rather than HD and so far, Ive almost always been able to find what I need here. They are closed on Sundays, which is why I sometimes end up at HD, but other than that, shopping here is far, far superior.

I hate to down rate a local business, but selling Donald Trump-themed Merchandise? Thats more than a political opinion, its inflammatory and offensive. I work close by to this store, and often come in for things I need as its convenient. Ive spend a good bit of my money there over the years, but I cant support this business anymore for the reason stated, as I cant support something that promotes intolerance.

I called ahead about a specific item, and they told me they had it and even specified the aisle it was in. Drove all the way out with the wife and kid to buy, and they did NOT in fact have it. He said it was a "mistake", but its just lazy and unprofessional. Id be wary of the overwhelmingly positive reviews here. Go to Home Depot.

Excellent selection, well laid out in a clean store, with friendly, helpful staff and competitive prices. Im very glad to finally have a hardware store (besides the ubiquitous Home Despot) in Waltham, and will be making this new True Value my first stop on future hardware-shopping trips.

My bike handlebars collapsed about 1/2 mile from the True Value store. They were so helpful. Tony figured out how to get the handlebars back in position and saved the day. Ill be back to buy stuff. Thanks!
