I used to be a fan, but yesterday changed it for me. While trying to check out I asked about a price on an unmarked item and the sales girl gave me a large amount. I said no thanks. Then she said the next items I had chosen were not the price labeled. They were more expensive. Bewildered, I said the price on the item is what it costs. The owner came over and told me that I had switched prices on an item and said he had proof via his store video camera footage. However, he didnt say what item I had changed. I was outraged. I have never stolen or been accused of stealing anything in my life. Most certainly not from a Thrift Store. To the contrary, I have donated many items to this store for his profit. He doesnt buy anything. He profits on all that is donated. I shopped there when I could to help his cause...No longer. I asked to see the footage and he continued to call me a sticker changer. Yelling this at me in front of people in the store. After the accusation and the harassing and condemning tone I told the owner he picked the wrong person to accuse of stealing and I was calling the police. He was stunned. He said, " You are calling the police over this?" I said, "Yes! You cant threaten me with shoplifting!" I called the Waltham police and told them what he accused me of. This is where the story changes. There was no video. He lied. Then said he had a witness. The witness was a scared looking family member from Colombia and no one could produce the sticker or where I allegedly committed the crime or on which product. He was upset that I had challenged his price. The witness kept quiet the entire time. The first item, a pink cup, which had no price (like many other items in the store) was quoted at $5. at the register, but the owner said to the police officer and me that it was $2.99. Now, I caught him in another lie. The owner said his store policy is to change the price if he thinks people are changing stickers. Totally ridiculous considering most prices are listed on the walls. The Police office told me that the owner would not press charges and I could leave if I wanted to. I didnt have to shop at this store. I was still extremely upset and asked the Officer if I could post my story on social media. He said yes. Again, I cant believe that I was treated like a criminal and I will never donate or shop at Global Thrift Store again and suggest other people question prices on their purchases if they think they are being treated unfairly. I am extremely sad to see that the store suffers for lack of customer service and an owner who doesnt value his clients.

My favorite thrift store ever. I must go here every month, at this rate. The prices are great. It is a thrift store after all. The employees are great at their job- no complaints. The selection of books!!!! ❤️❤️❤️ There seems to be a great selection of clothes, too, though I rarely get them. Also a great place to send donations to. Maybe you had a yard sale and still have leftover stuff- I highly recommend you donate it. This is a charitable thrift store. I miss the $5 store credit giveaways. It would be sent to me in the mail every once in a while, and then it suddenly stopped. Oh well.

There are different types of thrift stores out there and you can find good deals at all of them. This one is good for clothing mostly BUT it is not sorted by size so you will need to do some digging. The prices here are a good 50% cheaper then other stores in the area. There are a limited selection of home goods, electronics, and furniture. Same goes for this stuff, you can find good deals but youll need to dig. When you find a deal here it will be a REALLY good deal - because of this the places is picked over pretty well. You never know what youll find though!

This is my favorite thrift store since I almost always find something I want or need -- especially decorative glassware, plus-size designer clothing, purses and even shoes. Like with all thrift stores, it pays to visit often since the inventory is constantly changing. One day you might find an brand new mp3 player in the electronics section and the next only a stack of old cassette players. One day a genuine Stickley Mission Oak sideboard and the next only particle board furniture from Target. The finds definitely reward your time and effort.

Its fairly big and divided into mens and womens sections like youd expect. Unfortunately, you can get new items off of clearance racks in stores for less that what youd pay in this thrift store. For me, that defeats the purpose of going to a thrift store - I want to be able to throw it all in my cart without having to check the tags and agonizing over the price. That said, I did find a pretty sweet suede coat here in the middle of the summer for $30 (but...it was August, and it was $30...and it was missing a button)

Big selection. Employees are aloof. Carpet is disgusting and the store smells, especially near the back entrance. Clothing not organized by size so depending on how much there is, it sometimes is not worth the time to look. Glad they have a dressing room but it doesnt lend enough privacy. I felt like some kook could just open the curtain and get a look if they wanted, its right near the register in the middle of the store! Not very interesting furniture or non-clothing items.

I purchased $92 worth of clothing today and when I got the items home, I found two shirts with rips in them. I brought them right back within an hour for return. I was told by the nasty manager who had a scowl on her face that "all sales are final and we do not take returns." I was appauled that she had such a poor attitude..especially since I had just been there and spent almost $100.! I will NEVER set foot in that store again and advise a buyer beware! What a ripoff!

Came to the store to browse and found a great Lodge cast iron skillet with a price tag of $20. I left to browse and when I came back the skillet was moved and the price tag was missing. When i took it up to the counter i told her it was $20 and she said she had to check the price with her boss. She came back to me with the price of 25$. Apparently, the prices at the store are subject to the whatever the boss fancies that day. Definitely not coming back.

I have found some good items here, but this place is way more expensive than a Goodwill, and their selection and quality is generally no better. Most important reason to go elsewhere is you are less likely to get the nasty attitude from the employees - I mean, "Im going to slap this b**ch" nasty. These people treat you as though THEY are doing you a big service.

Awesome little thrift store with all sales benefiting Global Refuge (provides emergency relief and medical aid to ensure the survival of those fleeing from war). All staff are volunteers. Found designer boots in new condition for $5, and numerous other awesome scores. You can fill a bag of clothes for $5 too. I love shopping and donating here.
