I had such terrible experience here. It ruined my whole day and changed my whole view on life. I grew up in Norwood and my fave place to shop is tj maxx. However I havent been here for a while, so I was shocked to walk in today and see the store was renovated. I went to the clearance section looking for makeup brushes when all of sudden I noticed an associate following my every move. At first I thought nothing of it but I noticed her looking my way every other second. I carried on when all of a sudden another associate came to where the woman was before moving to my right, the new woman on my left doing the same thing, pretending to "rearrange" what the other woman did. So at this point there were two associates tailing me. I just got off work and had my uniform on, I had no bag on me, hat or hoody, I am African American. All I was doing was looking for contour brushes for cheap. I was very offended and disgusted. This was the first time in my life I had experienced such a thing and so shocked. I came with the intentions to buy a cheap set of makeup brushes not steal. I am a daughter of a minister, a college student, and an employee at a customer service type of store. I didnt see the need for two associates to follow me in the clearance department where everything is marked under $6, it wouldve been better for one to ask if I needed any help, than to mark me as a red alert target, and watch me like a criminal. I was very upset. And unfortunately, I no longer feel comfortable returning to this store, after shopping here since middle school, now being a college student.

The store manager is very rude. I love the store. Awesome finds great prices.. But she gotta go. Her attitude just the look on her face makes me not even wanna go in. I usually do my back to school shopping there n drop about 900 300 for each kid but not this year. I went to khols. That lady needs more customer service training. She looks as if she hates her job.
