Worst furniture buy ever. Gave me multiple delivery dates, all falling through until 1 of 2 pieces promised was delivered. The 2nd "didnt make it to the truck," was rescheduled for 2 days before I was preparing for a long-awaited vacation. The excuse when that day passed changed to "didnt get shipped," and once more was rescheduled to the very day I was to leave, but still didnt show up. Actually told by a manager when I tried to cancel the order "in stock" means in stock at the manufacturer, not at Ethan Allen. Not a definition Ive heard from any other store and certainly contradicts what the saleswoman told me when she was after the commission. Feel like I was taken for a ride and got a whole lot of hassle, including unwanted stress before a trip, plus having to wait 2 separate days for delivery of 2 small living room tables. Oh, and the price had gone down slightly in the meantime but no credit for the difference. All in return for my trusting the saleswomans assurances. Will never shop there again and would not recommend it to anyone.

My daughter purchased a $3,000+ sofa (upholstery expensive) and she received a sofa with serious mismatching of the fabric by as much as 6" off horizontally. It seems like the upholstery work was done by a badly trained beginner upholsterer. Unbelievable to see such terrible work. However, she is in the process of requesting the company to take the sofa back and either redo the work, or return her entire payment. Lets see what occurs. When and if Ethan Allen lives up to its responsibility in either reupholstering the sofa or return my daughters entire payment which was in full, I will add an update to this review to advise all that Ethan Allen is an honorable company. I hope this will be the case.
