Firstly, Im not just some chick who has a little feather behind her ear... I have a sleeve and many more around my intire body including my back done, and my husband is covered head to toe. With that... we can definitely say with complete confidence, honesty, and full experience that this shop is the BEST. Personally: I got a tattoo from Jay and he literally made my sleeve come alive. Its absolutely beautiful, and everyone including myself cant stop looking at it. My husband got a neck tattoo and every has the same to say about his as well. The beginning: We have walked into other shops and they were afraid to do what we were looking for, but not Jay from Paper City lol he took on our idea with complete confidence! Not like the other shops were they figured...act like a jerk and they will go away... all cause they didnt have the skills or balls to say no. The outcomes: Jays tats are constant, and it dosnt matter if your doing old school, new school, or more lifelike its all just amazing art. The Shop: Everyone in the shop is beyond friendly. They dont treat you with that arrogant attitude you get from other shops, and coming from a woman... I really give a lot of respect for that. Jay didnt treat me like I didnt know anything, he listened to what I had to say, and extremly professional. Everyone in the shop was nice, and they all treated us like we were friends of the shop, and it created a very comfortable environment. Unfortunately, I cant say that for other artists, and shops I have been too. I honestly cant wait to get more work done. Iv already gone back multiple times. So far so good, Im covered in tattoos fully left arm sleeved, my back both my back legs and half sleeve on my right arm , Im 28 yrs old been getting tattoos for 12 yrs,, I came to paper city to complete my left arm sleeve connecting to my left chest big piece, AWESOME customer service, in about 3 half hrs from 5 to after closing couldnt finish my tattoo in time Im going back next week to do my last session... But Jamie is the main man at tattooing amazing ESPECIALLY IF YOU LIKE just black & shaded tattoos like I do. .. Finally found my new tattoo shop & artist, cant wait till 21st when tattoo complete, another great thing they dont charge by the hour like most places, they charge by tattoo, Ill have 5 half 6 hrs of tattoo time in 2 sessions and was 400$ gotta leave a tip thats just me. .. Paper City tattoo is the place to go in there 413 just sayin..

I did not care for the environment of the place. The people there were extremely nice. I was there for my appointment with plenty of time and it was about a half an hour later before I was able to get pierced. The needle took longer than it shouldve to get through and the piercing is crooked. It was extremely red when it was first done and for weeks after. This was 2 months ago and Im still cleaning it exactly how I should be and Im still having issues with it. I was just recently able to change it without it hurting. Im not saying that they are a bad place and that you shouldnt go there, they do excellent work where tattoos are concerned. I was just not happy with my naval piercing.

Outstanding! HANDS DOWN the BEST TATTOO SHOP to get inked! Totally clean. Very professional. The nicest staff who eased my nerves. I discovered more information about tattoos and where to have one placed, best size, best color, best style - so much! I had NO IDEA what sort of design to choose. This was on my "bucket list" so they offered suggestions based on questions they asked about me and how I define myself. This custom gecko, curved and crawling up inside of my ankle is brilliant in color. His body is twisted to contain the first letters of both my sons names - and it is SPECTACULAR! They nailed it and I might just become addicted.

I love the atmosphere of this place, it was clean and updated. The staff was so welcoming and answered all my questions with ease since it was my first ever tattoo.The staff also told me exactly how to take care of my tattoo, and showed me the clean appliances and made sure I was 100% happy with my results. I was very tense and scared at first but my tattoo artist Nick, was calm and collected and made sure that I knew everything was going to be okay! I love my tattoo and I would not have wanted to go anywhere else! SO happy with service and I highly recommend this place :)

The staff is so friendly. Steve greeted me right away when I entered. this being my first facial piercing I was a little nervous but he reassured me and told me how it wouldnt hurt that bad and it really didnt. It was so easy. Hes very professional and everything is clean and packaged steril. I will definitely be returning here for my next piercings. 10/10 recommend this tattoo shop. Although I didnt get tattoos the artist still made small talk and sang along to some blues which was so friendly and welcoming its like youre with friends.

Ive now gotten several tattoos and a piercing at Paper City and the staff is super. Its clean and professional and has the environment one would come to expect in a professional tattoo parlor. Everyone is awesome and makes you feel so comfortable no matter what youre getting done, or covered up. I have about 30 tatoos and over 50 piercings and I truly wish I had discovered this place sooner. I dont know why anyone would bother going to noHo when Paper City is right off 91!

I just cleaned my wifes ink for her after being tattooed by Nick. Not a single drop of ink came off as I dried it. The lines were nice and crisp and clean. The color was set perfectly. Im looking forward to working with him in the future. I myself have been inked by Jamie a few times for very meaningful pieces. He brought every aspect of my ideas to life. This is such a clean environment with great staff that pumps out great work at a very reasonable price.

My mom and I went here due to a gift certificate from Bright Side. Both Nick & Steve were amazing and had a great knowledge of both piercings and tattoos! We went in there to just get a tattoo and my mom ended up with a piercing as well! Nick took his time with both my mom and I, gave us some great advice and helped us create the best mother daughter tattoo that was unique! 100% happy with the service received and I cant wait to get my next one!

It was my first visit in this place , actually first visit in tattoo please. Very happy with Stephen. He is very professional, friendly and knowledgeable person. Everyone was telling me how painful is daith piercing but he made it so easy and comfortable that it did hurt at all I just felt the pressure and sting . Just like flu shot. Im very empress. He knows what he is doing. I highly recommend this place and him.
