My boyfriend and I decided to get septum piercings at Long Island Ink. The piercer Renee was in the middle of doing a tattoo and we didnt have an appointment, but she said she would stop her tattoo to pierce us. Renee pierced my boyfriend first and did a good job, but then it was my turn. Mine was extremely crooked. It was pierced diagonally through my nose (right side hung in the front of my nose while the left side landed mid-nostril). I checked the bathroom mirror to see how it looked and thought that it only looked crooked because it was swollen so I didnt say anything about it. Renee didnt acknowledge how crooked it was at all. Just asked me to pay so she could get back to the tattoo she was working on. I ended up taking it out just a few hours later because of how uneven it was. My experience with the shop was not a pleasant one, although my boyfriends septum piercing looks great. As far as cleanliness, it was clean. Gloves and new needles and clamps. Although I did find it odd that the girl whose tattoo was interrupted was asked to sit in the waiting room holding a bloodied paper towel to her shoulder.

Well after going to 3 other tattoo shops and asking them to draw up a tattoo for me that I wanted and nobody really wanted to sit down and do it I went here and spoke to Rafael and he took my idea drew it up perfectly and did a great job on my tattoo. We need more artists like him if you want a great tattoo then go see him he is a nice guy great attitude.

Chris is an amazing artist and person. I love my tattoos and get many compliments on them. I am so glad that my son convinced me to let him do my tattoos. I had a bad experience at another shop in Douglasville but, gladly, it is no longer open. I feel totally comfortable at Long Island Ink. Of course, we love Devo too!! (Camerons mom)
