**ABSOLUTELY AWFUL EXPERIENCE!!** I had called the shop to see if they had any openings that day to do two small tattoos on my finger and 8 small classic flash wall tattoos on my boyfriends fingers as well. We were told to come in at 7 and we could get them done. We got to the tattoo parlor and everything seemed pretty normal up until the tattoo artist came to see us. He immediately made it very clear that doing 10 nickle sized tattoos was the worst thing that could happen to him. He complained blatantly to his coworkers how "blind he was going to be" after doing them, RIGHT IN FRONT OF US! That shouldve been the clear sign to leave right then and there. But unfortunately we didnt. I explained very clearly what I wanted, one of the tattoos being 3 OUTLINED rectangle boxes on my knuckle. This was a tattoo I have been wanting for three years now which holds personal significance. We were told to come back to the room, where the artist never properly introduced himself, so I dont even know his name. He told me to have a seat while he started cleaning his station. He then put the stencils on my knuckles, without shaving the section first (i have light blonde hair that you cant see, but its there). He tattooed the first one which ended up looking okay, but extremely evident the ink wont end up staying in my skin. He then started tattooing the boxes on my knuckle and before I could say anything, he started filling the boxes in which is NOT WHAT I WANTED! I was completely devestated that I now had three thick, filled in, bold-look-at-me-boxes on my knuckle. It is not dainty, or what I wanted and its ON MY HAND!!! The artist then told me "you know what to do, clean it and dont put your hands in your pockets"...and that was my aftercare talk. At that point my boyfriend said it was time to leave before he got his done. My boyfriend ended up going to The Edge Tattoo and I am COMPLETELY UPSET THAT I DID NOT JUST GO THERE FIRST! Thankfully they assured me they could fix my tattoo, giving me different ideas and options! And the ink they put on my boyfriend looked absolutely flawless and they made us feel 1000% comfortable. I AM TELLING YOU, DO NOT GO TO TORTURE INK! THE ONLY THING THEY GOT RIGHT IS THE NAME, CAUSE THEIR INK WILL TORTURE YOU FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!

WARNING!!! PLEASE READ!!! As a perspective customer I have never been more uncomfortable in a “professional” establishment I have been around the artistic body art industry for a very long time. As a sincere gesture my boyfriend pursued an investment at this establishment for my next piece. I felt that they saw me as more of a piece than the art they were supposedly putting on my body. I was subjected and disrespected more than I have been in my entire life. I understand “boys will be boys” but this felt like way more than that. After putting up with the comments and suggestions I still waited to see the artistic aspect even after being told how happy the artist was that my boyfriend was not there. After getting a ridiculously over board estimate and seeing the mock up and suggestions they had to offer I knew it was time to take my business elsewhere. It seemed like their artistic perspective was that of an 8 year old child. I have seen many artistic expressions and different body art, this was none of that. It was almost mechanic and the opposite of what anyone who wants to express themselves through art would be looking for. I’m really sad to see that there is no option for a zero star review here because they sincerely do not deserve the one that I am forced to leave here.

So after waiting for two years after the horrible experience that was my first tattoo, when girls night ended up at a tattoo shop, I FINALLY got my second tattoo. Torture ink gave me the absolute best experience I couldve possibly asked for. The artists were all so nice, friendly, and knowledgable, the shop was super clean, and the all around vibe was just relaxing and made it easy to be comfortable there. Amy was my artist and Brett did my friends, and they were both amazing. The price was incredible considering the quality of the tattoos (you get what you pay for!). After my experience here I cannot wait to go back and get more tattoos and I HIGHLY recommend them now to anybody who wants a great tattoo and experience.

Called a week or so prior to my appointment. I was hoping to get in earlier but Craigs schedule was booked solid and I can now see why. What an incredible artist. I have 5 tattoos already but the one that Craig created for me was over the top amazing!!!! He was incredibly accommodating and made me feel like I was the only person in the room. Besides his sense of humor and overall great personality he made me more than comfortable. Needless to say Ive found my "tattoo guy". Ill be getting more ink from Craig Smith at Torture Ink!!!

I called and made an appointment with Brett! When we got there he was running behind and booked up so Stephen ended up doing my husband and Is tattoo!! We both have prior tattoos and his set up and the time it took to set up seemed a little weird to us! We went through with getting the tattoos and where very unsatisfied!!!! The likes where not straight, some lines where way thicker then others, and overall the tattoos looked horrible! The only time we would go back is if we had a different artist!

I was in Enfield on some business and with a couple of great referrals including one from the owner who I met in Ft Myers Florida I decided to stop in a get a tattoo. Im glad I did. I have a few already and its risky finding a good place let alone a good artist. I couldnt be happier and although I may nto be back in Enfield for business i will go back to get my next tattoo

Love it, Went in for a storm trooper left with memories. I got mine from Craig, He treats guests like family. Hes not like the average artist either he works with his customers. I had to cancel once on him and felt horrible but Craig didnt hold it against me. They have great prices and the work is perfect. Found my Ink guy

I set up an appointment with Kevin to get a word tattoo on my foot. I was immediately impressed by the cleanliness of Torture Ink and professionalism of Kevin. My tattoo (my first) came out beautiful and is just what I had pictured. I highly recommend Kevin and couldnt be happier!
