As a first time home buyer and owner of a landscaping company I always swore by Home Depot (Wareham, Ma). I had a carpet installed in our home and it was an "in-stock" carpet. The carpet abuts the kitchen, dining room, two bedrooms, a dining room, a sliding glass door and a bathroom. At every point the carpet meets another floor the tack strip is coming through. both myself and my wife have been stabbed in our feet multiple times. Multiple calls to the store(got nowhere) multiple calls to corporate(got nowhere but a bad attitude) they offered to refund us our money and come (remove) the carpet and WE would have to pay the difference for what would be a better carpet. This is a $700.00 sale! After it all we would have to still pay over $400.00 for a "better carpet" They have absolutely refused to eat there mistake, and lost a customer for over 20yrs (private and commercially) Unfortunately, the lawyer has been contacted. If my 2yo child or my dog is injured due to this carpet "issue" There is going to be a substantial law-suit. I hope I help you make up your mind. PLEASE JUST GO SOMEWHERE ELESE!!

As a contractor and a new homeowner in Wareham, I have been shopping this Home Depot for several months now. Everyone I have met so far have been incredible! For the past 15 years, I have used Natick, Marlborough and Bellingham, and I will miss them........but let me tell you how great the people are in Wareham. Will, Erin, Jessica, Brittany, Joe in Lawn and Garden, Lee, Justin, Paula in K&B, the other Joe down in lumber or plumbing (he helped me in both departments), Kyle and Joe in Flooring. Top notch service! I know I forgot some people, but Ill remember on the next review. My own personal home renovation is going as scheduled because of this store and its staff. From the Customer service desk to the Pro desk. I couldnt be happier. Today, Erin went out of her way to make sure my exchange went flawless, and it did. Love you guys! Staff need training. People working on the floor often dont know what products they sell and cant answer basic questions about items. I like to buy online and pick up in store, but the poor customer service folks are so confused, it takes them 20-30 minutes to find the order in their order closet that is right there by their desk. Everything is someone elses job and the customer is the least important person in the store. Today may be my last visit. Easier and faster to order stuff from amazon.

My husband and I were very impressed with the help we received from Mark Becktold when we needed help in the garden department. He spent the necessary time with us, explaining about plants, potting soils, fertilizers etc.. We dont usually get such good customer service anywhere and we wanted to express - Many thanks Mark!!
