Very disappointed in Aubuchon Hardware. Ive never had a problem for years till two days ago. I had an Ad for Benjamin Moore Paint that was a promotion for the Fenway Park Paint. I brought in my old paint cans from home to match and purchase seven gallons of fresh Benjamin Moore Paint. The salesman for the paint dept. told me that Aubuchon Hardware was not honouring the promotion for Benjamin Moore Paint that they sell. I asked for the paint to buy and they told me the promotion was over and could not sell me the paint. They had the paint and wouldn’t even sell it to me. I planned on spending several hundred dollars in paint there that I needed. I’m very disappointed in their paint department and believe the sales person was keeping the paint promotion for them selves.

Had a bad experience with paint. Bought a $47 gallon of paint to paint a 10x10 bedroom, never in my life have needed to buy more that a gallon for that size bedroom. The bedroom next to it was covered very well in 2 coats with another paint with 1/3 gallon left. Well this after 3 coats and an empty gallon looked like only one coat. I brought the can back to talk to them and they explain its the color which will need 4 or 5 coats to fully cover. They didnt tell me when I bought the paint or I wouldnt have bought it. And offered no help or discount on the remainder of the pain I need other than a too bad. Update: The next trip I made to the store they offered me a gallon no charge to finish the job.

My father and I had a very unpleasant experience at this store. We came in with a full shopping list of things we needed and no one would help us beyond pointing a finger in a certain direction and telling us it was "over there". The guy outside of the paint department could not walk over and show where the boat varnish was, the woman who was re-stocking could not tell us where the epoxy was etc. I finally asked to speak to a manager and was told I couldnt. There are a lot of good hardware stores in the Falmouth area (Eastmans, North Falmouth Hardware) so I will never shop here again.

Fantastic people working there... Always well stocked. My go to store. It used to be a funky old paint and hardwear store but also a good one. I am happy to say the buyout even improved the place tenfold. Getting the hardwear manager and paint guys they did was also a HUGe smart move. Keep it up friends!

Very knowledgeable staff. Almost anyone you ask can help with your project. We just bought a house on the cape, and so have found lots of things to work on or fix. We are always in there. For a local store, they are stocked well.
