I have never been so insulted in my life. When we pulled in the suits rushed to the window like a pack of vultures circling to finish off the kill. I think "J." thought as a woman I simply would lay-down and take it.. The sales pitch started with why a big corporation was better than a mom and pop, working for a small business I took that to heart. Then came the let me explain how it works here.... and was told that I would all but agree to purchase before I even knew what type of car I was purchasing. Then he said if I wasnt ready to buy right then and there dont waste his time, and by the way it would take at least 2 1/2 hours. When he asked me what I wanted to put down and I asked about the value on my trade in, (which he was right I didnt have with me. I wasnt driving it because though it ran, it was unreliable and I didnt feel like risking getting stuck at 8:00 at night) he said "Seeing as its not here, nothing." So I responded with "Let me get this straight, you want me to agree to purchase a car without knowing what Im purchasing and no idea what my payments would be or even the quality of the car?" So he says "Your here because you cant get financed anywhere else, so what choice do you have?" At this point hes lucky I didnt start swinging. I stood up and said "Were done here." Salesperson got all bug-eyed and tried to act totally shocked like Im the unreasonable one. Save yourself the humiliation. I searched for sometime for a reputable dealer and did a lot of research. I ended up purchasing at Northend Motors in Canton MA. Well worth the drive. I wasnt an easy customer to finance but they got it done, in my budget and I feel good about the quality of car I purchased. Just because you have not-so-perfect credit or a lower income doesnt mean you deserve this kind of treatment.

Awesome service! Thank-you J.D. Byrider for providing me with a vehicle my family needed, same day! I received the utmost service from Edward, he was very informative and patient, as I am a very difficult and inquisitive customer. Ive already recommended them to a family member, who has just received a very much needed vehicle for her growing family and I immediately received my referral bonus of $200 for it as well!! Ive shopped around to quite a few places in the area. I picked J. D. Byrider for their quality vehicles, exceptional service, reasonable interest rate, speedy delivery, and most importantly the value of knowing I am building credit towards my future. Do not let a Buy-Here Pay-Here fool you as it has done me before. They are equipped with overly priced damaged vehicles that will only last the limited warranty of 30days, they will not assist you if any problems arise off that radar. They will entice you with no interest on your already jacked up car and offer you no future. You will get a cheap hoopty in all sense of the word, needed to be replaced way before you even have the opportunity to pay it off, a d again that is not their problem. So PLEASE steer clear, invest in quality and your future. Go to J. D. Byrider and see what they can do for you.

Wife and i walked in and we were immediately Bombed with greeters that are trained to make you uneasy. We then were transferred to a room with a man who said " I am going to get you a car TODAY " We had to produce our income which was not a problem but we then were asked to produce at least 6 friends that were not family members and all their info like name phone address and were they worked? I didnt disclose this info to JD byrider. I then was asked what kind of car i was trading in. After i told the "Salesmen" what kind of car i had ( Well truck ) He began to be little my 8 cylinder vehicle and how i was ONE OF THOSE DRIVERS !!! I looked at my wife and said what the F$%k are we doing here being treated like this ??? So an hour goes by and we are then called into this other room with the Finance advisor? we sit down and then directed to disclose our info again to make sure its correct to the new guy ! I then was asked how come i didnt fill out the friend page ? I said i am not giving out my friends info !! the man thanks have a nice day i cant help you !! We left and i will NEVER go there again !!

I can honestly say that this has been more than just buying a car for me, this has been an experience from start to finish, and one that I will never forget! I came to JD Byrider, not fully knowing what to expect, after having had a horrible experience with another car dealer. I felt defeated and out of options when I first met Brian, and quite honestly, had ZERO expectations or hopes of even buying a car. Brian took the time to sit with me and listen to everything I had to say. Brian made me feel comfortable and valued, which was the complete opposite of what I had just experienced at the other dealer. I was then introduced to Jay, the sales manager, who also did nothing but make me feel completely comfortable. Brian and Jay were not only great with me, but they were great with my young daughter, which means everything to me. I have bought many cars in my lifetime, and hands down, have never ever ever had such an amazing experience as I have had here! I would highly recommend Brian, Jay and JD Byrider to ANYONE looking to purchase a vehicle!

My vehicle had finally died and I needed another car rather quickly. A friend of mine told me about how she went to JD Byrider and they had her in a car that same day. I drove on a Saturday to the JD Byrider in Dartmouth Mass and was introduced to my sales person Brandon. I explained my situation and he was not only interested in what I wanted out of a car buying experience but exceeded my expectations. There was no pressure, no hounding, no showing vehicles I didnt want nor could afford. It was about what I could afford and what I wanted. They also have a finance company on site which means no more "well let you know". I was taken care of by Stuart with CNAC auto finance and needless to say with a couples hours I was done. Paperwork done, test drove the car I am now the prouder owner of and on my way with a full tank of gas. I recommend JD Byrider and Brandon to anyone looking for a vehicle. I know my next vehicle and the vehicles of my family will be! Thank you Brandon and JD Byrider for the best car buying experience ever!

I was a customer at the Dorchester location for 3 years but the only good thing there was Jim in the service department (who is no longer there) - he was fantastic! However, I did not want to go back there for my next vehicle due to the "tone" of the sales person I dealt with as well as the finance person. They were rude and condescending, respectively. My sister had recently purchased a car at your Dartmouth location so I went there last week. My experience at Dartmouth was so much better!!! Dartmouth has a better inventory, with better quality and their staff is amazing. Brian and Jay and the two women who assisted me with my paperwork (I am so sorry I can not remember their names) were professional, friendly and made sure my experience was a good one and, I got a great car! I would highly recommend the Dartmouth JD Byrider location to anyone.
