I got an offer for a trial membership and tried it, with intention of joining at the end of the trial. Ive changed my mind after trying the Danvers outlet. I have never come across such rude employees in all of the years I have been a consumer.. My experience began with the angry clerk who signed me up as she barked out the rules and regulations of what I could and could not do with my membership and carried through to the attendant who checked my receipt as I left the store. I thought perhaps I had come on a bad day, so I tried the store again, only to be confronted with the same rude behavior as I left the store with my purchases, but this time compounded by an employee that was cleaning the window who rudely (and loudly) reprimanded me for extending the courtesy of allowing him to finish the window before I triggered the electronic door. I was being nice and I got yelled at! In truth, these people went beyond rude. They were downright abusive. Though their attitude was dreadful, I took the high road and treated them with respect in hope that they would learn by example that it wasnt necessary to mistreat the consumer who made their job possible. I think B Js management needs to practice critical thinking when when hiring and recognize that customer service is essential to future business.. There are lots of people without jobs who would welcome the jobs that these sour employees now have. I come from an era when the customer was treated with respect. This behavior cannot and should not be tolerated in the marketplace. I will never go back to B Js Wholesale Club again.

Ive have been a BJs Club member for 5+ years & always great products at good prices! Great store and friendly staff. Their bakery is fantastic for cakes, pastries, bagels, muffins and French bread. They have a huge selection of meats, vegetables, seafood, frozen food (including hors doevres, prepared foods etc), dairy and snacks in addition to aisles for baking ingredients, canned foods, baby items, household goods, gardening, clothing DVDs and books, personal care, PHARMACY + Optical, jewelry, AND electronics! The have a small eatery with pizzas pretzels and soda at the entrance. There is also a liquor section but that closes earlier than the store itself. Its your one-step shop! (Side note: for even larger selection, check out the Revere and Dedham locations).

Tough to compete with Costco, but they try hard. The one thing I dont like about this store is that they carry many of the same items as Costco, but they have the package contain LESS than Costcos same product, and charge around the same for it. You really have to pay extra attention to see what youre buying (10 boxes of tissues vs 12, or 2lbs of chips vs 14oz.). Its a bit deceptive if you ask me. Still, good quality stuff, and same return policy as Costco : if you dont like it, bring it back.

Went to pick up glasses but the eye glass people keep dofferent hours wasted 40 miles round trip . I assumed if Bjs was open someone would be there in the lenses dep.

Who doesnt love BJs? Great prices and selection. I love the roasted chicken you can get for $5 at the deli. So good! The deli guys always give my son a free sample!
