I work nearby and shop here a lot. A few weeks ago I bought two cans of dry shampoo. I used one, and when I went to use the second, it would not spray the product. Of course, I didnt have the receipt, but it never occurred to me that I couldnt return the defective product for a store credit (which is what I asked for). The shampoo still has the TJMAXX price tag on it. The return clerk called a supervisor, who said it was a used product without a receipt. For $5.99 I wasnt going to fight with them and asked them to just throw the product away. Which they couldnt do... said they would put it in lost and found. I took it with me and put it in a city trash can. I get that they probably get a lot of abuse of their return policy, and this is ONLY $5.99, but I am angry.

the store is good but the 2 things i dread are i hate the fact how you have to up like 40 stairs on a escalator ( the elevator isnt any better it is so slow) and it closes at 8:30 why so early? the boyloston st location is open til 9. kinda stinks if you want to get there to do a little late night shopping apart from this it is very good the selection varies as it is a smaller store in the area ( just slightly larger than the Marshalls next door but not by much) but they have some pretty good things you can find if you lookbut that is the key you have to look because there are fewer things here than others i have been. chek it out though its worth browsing.

More often than not the up escalator will not work. The one down always does though. I am fit and I dont care. But I see many other people struggling as they climb those steep endless stairs. That store had better carry extraordinary stuff in order to make up for the substantial climbing efforts, but it doesnt. At least not for men! And that is another not-so-very-cool thing this TJ Maxx location has. Hence one star.

They have quality household products. There are mini suitcases that look like lunchboxes. It makes me want to fly to all the state capitols to get signatures for the governors elections in the next election cycle. I want to microsize and become more efficient. there is a cell phone charging station. This store is much more relaxed than Marshalls next door.

This TJ Maxx is always very crowded and has a smaller selection of housewares than at some others (I think its clothing selection is much larger). The lines are long but they always have multiple people working the registers. Prefer to shop elsewhere because it can be so busy. However, it is usually well organized and clean.

I shop here from baking products to exercising clothing but I rarely buy shoes . There is nothing wrong with shoes I am extremely selective of shoes. My favorite part is home good department, If you see something you like buy it because it might not see it again. The price is cheaper here than some where else in general.

Eh. For the location, DTX, this TJ Maxx is not all that exciting. The lighting seems off, the staff seem confused and sad, the entry and exit system is cumbersome and the merchandise is poor at best. However, even with all this, it seems vibrant compared to the Marshalls just a few yards away.

This place is so great. I been getting some beautiful housewares here for such good prices. Everyone who works is super nice and helpful. They have a huge selection and never that crowded. Also there are not many other places to get a variety of housewares right in the middle of boston.

For a downtown location, this is an okay store. If youre visiting during heavy shopping seasons (xmas, start of the school year), expect it to be very picked over and messy. Because it gets so much traffic, the selection is not always great and can be disorderly and busy.

there is an extensive selection of handbags at the downtown crossing TJ Maxx location. there is a good selection of for instance phone chargers and a great deal of fitness items such as power ball and kettle bells for $10. there are some massage rollers that reduce cellulite

I came here to get a few things for my self and there service here is wonderful I just wanted to say thanks for the wonderful service that they have here. I like how I can just find every thing with out having to go and ask for help.

This TJ Maxx location is definitely a hit or miss for me, in terms of finding things to buy. The store is very conveniently located, but because its near tourist traps, I dont find as great deals here, than at any other location.

This is pretty conveniently located and the clothes tend to be better than Old Navy or Primark in the same neighborhood. However since its in a high traffic area, things tend to be more picked over compared to other TJ Maxx.

I love this place. You can go in to see what new stuff they have and leave with a new wardrobe and a desk. Staff are helpful. The location is perfect for those who want to stop by while theyre in Primark and/or Marshalls.

Nice big selection of all sorts of clothes available, fairly good finds and even better prices. They have a nice home section with a lot of useful items particular for home decor and the kitchen.

As with all TJ Maxx stores, this one can be hit and miss on the organization. It does feature the Runway at the Maxx, which includes high-end designer clothing at reasonable prices.

The stores tends to be very messy but thats normal for the kind of store it is. The clothes quality sometimes can be bad, a lot of things then to go bad after a couple washes.
