This whole foods is nice, a little smaller than others but you could get your essentials here. The thing about whole foods is that you have to shop sales and store brand if youre on a tight budget, but its doable. Make use of the coupon books in store or coupons online even though it takes some time and coordination. Its great to have them in town and Im not sure what other reviews are about on yelp, that said the items are priced differently than other whole foods because I shop at others in the area and the prices are the same, the sales are the same. Prices have gone up on certain items overall, not just this whole foods. The parking lot is smallish to go with the small store but there is 2 hour parking off street. I love the healthier junk food, like cheese puffs, and nacho tortilla chips without the msg and crazy red no 5 (or whatever the number is). Theres usually goodies to try all around the store and they hold fun events for kids and adults. Would like them to have a smoothie/coffee bar like woburn store. Not 5 stars because on my budget, its still expensive for me, but so is stop and shop down the street...

This has to be the worst WF in New England. Bulk: organic oatmeal on in tubs on the floor under everything else (really inconvenient compared to other WFs but I guess not surprising since its lower profit than the nuts and granola above it). I open a bin and go to scoop--surprise! No scoop, and all of the other scoops are wired to their bins, so no possibility of getting oats. I get something else from bulk--surprise! No pen of any sort to write the PLU with. Elsewhere: I want a can of beans and look for the price--surprise! No price on the can or the shelf. I go to buy some Iggys bread--surprise! the same kind of loaf I bought at the Watertown WF last week for $5.69 is $7.29 here. I get home and look at the receipt -surprise! I was charged 1.99 for the small tubs of yogurt that were marked 1.19 on the shelf. Surprisingly limited selection of food, even for a WF of this size; poor attention to supplies customers need; no one around to ask about anything. I live in MetroWest but have stopped here a few times--never again. I feel sorry for you who live in Arlington.

This store is quiet, large but laid out to feel small. The team members are quiet, lack knowledge of product location as I was asked by both customers and team members where things are at my first ever visit to this store. Kind of odd. Seems to be a neighborhood location where its mostly community shoppers. Decent selection of products. Hot bar looked beat both for breakfast and lunch. Pizza looked old and crusty. All in all not my favorite whole foods.

Nice ambiance and friendly staff but they have almost no vegan options at the breakfast bar and the lunch bar is moderate for the same (though the salad bar is decent). As for product selection I can find most of my favorites at other grocery stores nearby - with the exception of a couple things that I do rely on WF for. Would forgive a lot if they stocked fresh vegan cookies like other WFs.

I was just here, on a professional visit to Harvard Medical School for a course in Pain Medicine. I am staying not too far from here for the duration of the course. I found this Whole Foods fantastic - coming from the UK, I needed help finding things and the staff were ever so helpful and the provisions on offer were great. I would come here again for anything I needed.

Not the best whole foods. Case in point: the produce. It is poorly tended, making me wish the walk werent so far down mass ave to stop and shop. Stop and shop mists their produce regularly, has a larger organic selection, and, I find, fewer bruised items. So, a grumpy 4 stars as a market 3 stars at best as a Whole Foods

Overall I would consider this a sub par Whole Foods. Nothing particularly wrong with it just not all that impressed either. It seemed to me to be on the smaller side so that is probably the reason I find it lacking. It is better than the old Foodmaster that used to be over there and is still an improvement from that.

This is a decent sized Whole Foods located on Mass Ave in Arlington. While not as large as the ones in Bedford and Woburn, it is large enough to contain everything we hoped to find when visiting a WF. We shop mostly for organic meats, fruits (berries, avocados), and vegetables (kale) here.

This is about as Whole Foodzy as you can get without feeling overwhelmed. The patrons are all hip parents or grandparents. The staff is Young and Suburban. And the parking lot is full of the appropriate kind of cars. Replete with electric charging. The store is on the small side.

Most of the store is alright, not as large as the alewife location but well enough stocked, the food bar however is almost always old and stale, and the same items as always. Its unfortunately only gotten worse through the years its been there. Decent for shopping, poor for lunch.

Waaaay too small of a produce section for Whole Foods. I go here just to get a few things that arent in the other local stores, but if I had to go a few miles away to a bigger Whole Foods (like Fresh Pond or Medford) it wouldnt bother me.

They lost me as a pizza customer when the price went from $3 per slice to $3.50. Far better value at any of the locally owned/operated pizza places in Arlington. (The pizza itself is OK but nothing special)

Really good. Food is fresh and the service is super friendly! They just didnt have a few things in produce I wanted which is the only reason for the 4 stars.

Awesome, healthy foods! Great environment and modern store. Though like every whole foods, it should be renamed to whole paycheck.

Medium sized Whole Foods. Prices arent cheap, but they have more/different things available than other nearby grocery stores

Always fun to figure out dinner. So many choices, it is difficult to leave without 3 bags of deliciousness.

Fresh and outstanding quality. The Bedford NH store has the best pizza in the area in the "pub". Great beers!

Its a smaller whole foods without a ton of parking. Can be crowded, but not as bad as others in the area.

A smaller Whole Foods, with a correspondingly small and crowded parking lot. But the staff is helpful.

Ita a Whole Foods. I dont think they sell alcohol. Salad and hot bar always seem a little scant.

Its the one place I know to get 100% grass fed and organic proteins. Pricey, but worth it.
