Though the Quill & press has extensive art supplies they are double what you would pay on-line. A 14 x 20 Arches watercolor block will cost you $ 77.00 and can be found @ Dick Blicks for $ 38.00. Not that $ 3.50 p/sheet is expensive for water color paper, but come on ! Most artist are starving and Quill & Press is being greedy.

Remember when walking through a Stationery Store was fun - before they all became Staples? This is a huge store - two floors - with an excellent selection of everything you need for writing, drawing, or painting. I think it has to be the best store outside of Boston or Providence.

The art department is wonderful. They have a great assortment of art supplies for professionals and students alike. Great stationary department too, and if you love pens...oh my, do they have a great selection. Shop this family owned business!
