Awfull. I got my tatto and it looked good immediately following. While it was healing the color started to fade. Once it was completely healed it looked like I had it for 20 years, most of the color had faded. This was not my first tatto so I know how to take care of it, in fact my 3 year old tatto looks better then the new one. Also when I was getting the tattoo he was digging the needle so deep. My 1 hour tatto tool 3 hours. To rap it all up I called them and asked them to touch up the tatto only one week later I was told that it would cost me. Ultimately I had to go to another local tattoo parlor in Abinton to get the tattoo touched up. This is my story I hope this help.

Great place! Clean and neat, with beautiful artwork everywhere. I went to Skin Deep on Friday with my two sisters and we each got a tattoo. Doug is an amazing artist and I will recommend him everytime. He drew up exactly what we asked for and they all came out identical (as requested). None of us knew exactly where on our bodies we wanted them and Doug was incredibly patient with us, even with our indecisiveness. He took his time and made sure each tattoo was placed perfectly and that we were thrilled with it before he even started. We are thrilled! Needless to say, they came out beautiful and I will absolutely be back.

For starters, its a clean place. The artist, Jason, was extremely great to work with. He incorporated all the elements I wanted into the design. He had to change it a couple of times before we got it on a template. Then he set and reset the placement of the template until it looked right. He explained everything he was going to do, before he did it - i.e. before its too late. He did an amazing job and very excited about the finished product.

Highly recommend seeing Doug. He was great and paid attention to the little details, which is so important and often overlooked unfortunately by some other artists. Everyone there is also extremely nice which makes you want to come back again.

Amazing and funny people, not afraid to make conversation and joke around I felt like I was home even though it was my first time there, I would definitely recommend skin deep if you like quality tattoos and people!

i got it here and that was about a year ago and it still hasnt faded or anything and it still looks like i got it last month!! Im not going anywhere else..

Fantastic staff wholeheartedly friendly and funny. They really make the experience. Its definitely a drive for me but Ill definitely go back!!
