Second Chances isnt really a traditional thrift store, its actually a free store. (Im not sure if you can actually walk in and purchase things without a voucher or not...). To shop here you need to go to the Human Services Program (1st floor at 10 distillery drive) and get a voucher. Its super easy- just walk in and tell the lady at the window "I need a voucher for second chances - they dont take your name or ask for any kind of verification- just ask how many people are in your family (for example I say 3 since its just me and my 2 kids), the receptionist writes your number of family members on the voucher and hands it to you- super easy. Then you go in at 2nd chances and give them the voucher and they give you a plastic grocery store bag- one for each family member. You fill your bags with whatever you find and its yours for free! Like any thrift store that depends donation the quality and selection varies from week to week, someways you find to many treasures to stuff you bags full and other days you wont find much of anything, but the price is right, and its a huge help for people who are struggling financially or raising kids on a tight budget. They have a little of everything, clothes, shoes, housewares, blankets, sheets, sports stuff, lots of toys, small electronics (you probably wont find gaming systems or other expensive electronics tho), and other random thrift store type stuff. They also take donations, and unlike goodwill there dont mark the prices up ridiculously high, so its a place to keep in mind when cleaning out the closet, garage, basement, foreclosure, etc! Worth checking it out if youre struggling and in need!

There is a resident residing there with her four children, Brittany Nicole Ohara 6/21/1987, is not homeless, she lives part of the week (Sunday night to Tuesday night) in Baltimore, MD. 203 Rock Glen Rd, Apt D, her light blue Ford mini van is parked there from midnight Sunday thru mid evening Tuesday. She is also helping this person pay his rent, so why is she eligible for any assistance? She moved her kids out of their home at 44 E. Main St, 21157, to live in a shelter and pay some mans rent.

I volunteered here I think it is a great place for people to go that need clothing or bedding or things for their home and it is not a thrift store or like a goodwill it is free!
